Location

    My wife got hurt getting off the train on the way. The desk clerk saw us hobble in at night. I figured out I need to get a car for the rest of the trip, and arranged it for the morning - on leaving the hotel I mentioned to the same front desk clerk that I wanted to bring the car, and leave it in their multi level garage for at most two hours - at first she suggested I pay for overnight or find another place to park. She then consulted with the manager, apparently to decide how to make a bad situation more stressful - when I had the car, I should stop in front of the hotel, and maybe they would be able to find me a spot, but for an hour - I told my wife to pack herself as they were making this complicated. I waited until a spot opened in their loading zone - and another clerk objected to me leaving the car unattended. I told him to have it towed if he wanted.I am not a young man - all I asked for was a place to put the car for the couple of hours left till check out. Too hard, apparently. This place is bad mojo.

    We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff is outstanding. Our room was clean, quiet and nicely decorated. Breakfast was excellent.

    Just back from a short break. The hotel is newly refurbished with two roof terraces, one with a bar. Our room 415, was well furnished and spotless. It was also quiet. All the staff were lovely. The maintenance man sorted out a problem I made with the safe and waited till I was sure it was working properly. The breakfasts were good and the Easter special dinner we had was very good. It was very easy to get to the old quarter from the hotel.

    My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I appreciated the quiet stay that afforded a good night's sleep. Service was friendly and efficient. The hotel is well located with a short walk to a main plaza and then to the bridge to reach the old town.

    I visited girona with my mother. We walked from the bus station to the hotel 10 mins approx with no issues, it was very easy to find. At that time the main reception was being refurbished so was relocated to another area of the hotel. The rooms are large and exceptional, the weather was hot and air conditioning welcomed. The bathroom was modern and large. The roof terrace is beautiful and the the cocktail menu is excellent. The location of the hotel is perfect for traveller, minutes away from everything you want to see. Highly recommend this hotel
