    I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Llegendes. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Girona’s old quarter, just steps from the cathedral (the Sept of Baelor for Game of Thrones fans!) and other major sites. My room even had a view of the basilica tower. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe. This part of the old town is quieter and full of charm, but still just minutes away from dining, Las Ramblas, and Independence Plaza. It’s also walkable to the main city area and a 20mkn walk to the bus/train station, though the newer part of the city doesn’t have the same charm.The hotel itself is older, which adds character, and the staff made all the difference. Joanna at reception was very kind and went above and beyond. She helped resolve a minor issue with my room, gave me advice for planning a beach trip by bus, and arranged my taxi to the station. If you’re looking for a safe, convenient, and charming stay in Girona, this is a great choice.

    I stayed at Hotel Llegendes Girona in April 2025 and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The room I was given was in poor condition – the bathroom door didn’t close properly, the shower leaked, and the overall quality was far below what I expected from a 4-star hotel.To their credit, the hotel acknowledged the issues at the time and kindly offered me a complimentary night stay to make up for it, valid until May 2026. However, I have since emailed them three times to book this night for September 2025 and have received no reply whatsoever.It’s incredibly disappointing that a hotel which markets itself on service and quality does not even respond to guests’ emails. A goodwill gesture means nothing if it isn’t honoured.Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel, as the lack of communication has left me with no confidence in their service.

    Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice and modern room with air con and automatic features easy to navigate. Ideally located with bars and restaurants close by. Quiet reading room with Dali artefacts . Kitchen and small bar facilities on site. If ever we return to Gerona we will stay at this hotel again

    This hotel is in a great location for exploring Girona. It is next to the Cathedral. 5 minutes walk to the river, 5 minutes from the square and old town city walk. The food market in the Saturday was very good. Special mention to Lucy the receptionist, who is English. She speaks fluent Spanish, she was so helpful, gave us loads of recommendations. Ordered us taxi to airport and 5 minutes journey to train stationWe got the high speed train from Girona to Barcelona took 39 minutes, for 17:00 euros each, got the slow train back which was 1:30 but only 8 euros as we missed the last fast train so check time trains for return journey. One thing I would recommend was to see how much private transfer is as we paid 47 euros for cab to hotel from airport. Girona a lovely city for 2 nights.Would stay at hotel again.
