  Overall, we had a wonderful holiday.

  We have just returned from a seven-night stay and had a very enjoyable experience overall. Upon arrival, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We checked in at approximately 4:00 pm, which worked perfectly as the children were able to head straight to the pool, which remains open until around 6:30 pm.The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. A €50 deposit is required upon check-in, and if you choose to use the in-room safe, the cost is deducted from this deposit. Our room also featured a private enclosed courtyard and was conveniently located just a one-minute walk from the pool area.Although some guests queued for sun loungers for around 30 minutes, there was no real shortage. If the loungers around the pool were occupied, there were plenty more available in the garden and palm tree areas, so finding a sunbed was never an issue.We opted to use taxis rather than the local bus service, as the bus stop is located at the bottom of a steep hill. Taxis are readily available outside the hotel entrance, and if one is not immediately available, reception will arrange one within approximately five minutes. Prices were very reasonable: around €10 to Maspalomas, €6 to Sioux City, and €15 to Aqualand.The nearby beaches feature grey-black sand, and the sea can be quite choppy at times. However, both beaches are easily accessible via a short five-minute walk down the steps on either side of the hotel.The evening entertainment was enjoyable, and the drinks selection was excellent — including Amstel on tap, which many guests will appreciate.The only area I feel could be improved is the gym facilities. Adding some free weights and additional equipment would be beneficial, as many people enjoy maintaining their fitness routines while travelling. That said, it certainly did not detract from what was otherwise a fantastic stay.Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and would like to thank the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.   I absolutely love this hotel and would highly recommend anybody thinking of booking to book. I a lone parent took my daughter. We had a fantastic time. It’s so safe, the staff are so polite and friendly, helpful, kind. They will do whatever they can to help and add you money where possible. Our room was lovely and clean. It was clean ever. With the pool being cleaned everyday. I feel it was really good value for money. All you can eat and drink. With extra. Always available. The noise level is low. They are a lot of people there, but unless you are round the pool you wouldn’t feel like it was busy. Or noisy. The location is central to every where you could possibly need to go. And the atmosphere was so warm and relaxing. We don’t get to go on holiday that much, and I had not wanted to go all inclusive from my previous experience from another country. But interclub have changed my mind. We didn’t want to leave. It was a brilliant holiday. You won’t be disappointed. We highly recommend people going and enjoying themselves. The lifeguards are also lots of fun and very good at keeping everyone safe. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We had such a wonderful experience.   Great family holiday!

  Just come home from a lovely week's stay at Abora and couldn't fault it. The hotel was spotless throughout, the food was delicious I am also Celiac and they give you a red allergen card to show the waiters and they help with your food. The entertainment team were brilliant with varied shows every evening after the mini disco. All the staff where helpful. Very easy to get a taxi to local attractions ie aqualand, maspalomas etc. I recommend this hotel to anyone with a family.   Spot on for family's great location great staff

  A spot on hotel.   Lovely clean resort and the room was fantastic. A little out the way however we don't mind walking so we walked into Maspolmas twice which took about an hour along the promenade with plenty of bars along the way. 145 steps down to the beach but a coach is provided if you wish.Food, not great tbh the same repetitive things so we did venture out a couple of nights to eat. Breakfast was the best for us.Plenty of sun loungers so no need for the mad rush to find one. Very quiet around the pools, no music playing.For us this was just a chill out week away but i didn't see much entertainment for kids in the day and also NO inflatables in the pools!!! Seriously who doesn't love a lilo or a beach ball throwing about in water 🤷🏻‍♀️. The lifeguards are on the whistle to correct your wrong doings (which I guess is a good thing) You pay €50 holding deposit on arrival and €2 a day for the safe Which they take out the holding deposit in departure.There is a small shop in resort but we only seen it open once however there is a Spar 2 minutes walk away and a hippo supermarket about 10mi minutes away.Overall if your looking for a chilled out holiday round a pool then this is value for money. If I had smaller kids I don't think I'd book.On departure if you have a late flight you can book a shower room to clean and change before pick up which we did free of charge.
