Location

This hotel lies next to the golf course of Maspalomas, 2km from the spectacular Dunes of Maspalomas and only some minutes to the shopping centre, Faro 2. A free shuttle bus is available to take guests to the beach of Maspalomas and the centre of Playa del Inglés.

Facility

A pleasant ambience awaits guests in 266 rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the bungalow complex provides various services and facilities, including a safe, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance and a smoking area. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Services include a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave and tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a hairdryer.

Sport

Guests can cool off in one of the 2 outdoor pools. There is a children's swimming area as well. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the complex, including cycling/mountain biking, golf, table tennis, billiards and a solarium. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room and a bar. Guests can dine at the non-smoking restaurant, which includes a separate area for smokers (high chairs are available). Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A generous breakfast buffet, a lunch à la carte and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety.

    Recent week spent here with family, including our two year old. Resort is very quiet and relaxed with lovely gardens. Bungalow well equiped for self catering, cot provided and enjoyed the nice big terrace/patio which felt private. Staff exceptional, always friendly and helped us when our pushchair broke which was much appreciated. Pool area was nice, pool heated so we used every day. Plenty of sun loungers. Pool bar food was good too. Small play park.Self service washing machines available.Free shuttle bus available but we found this a bit busy with a toddler and pushchair so used taxis instead (6euro to beaches) Reception happily booked us ones for five but there's a rank a minute away which always had taxis waiting.     Bungalows were really spacious. Pool towel supplied and towels changed regularly even the pool ones. Kept very clean and staff all around friendly. A cheery old. If you want to be near the buzz this isn't the place for you. Prices in bar very reasonable...was very surprised. Terraces also very big with proper sunloungers there and a table and chairsOnly thing that let's it down is the food. Poor choice and we only got warm food on the last evening. Scrambled egg lovely but way too cold to eat. Had to heat nearly everything in the microwave.     A Lovely Relaxing Week

    We visited Sandy Golf Bungalows from 14-21 February 2026 with our teenaged daughter to rest and recharge our batteries in the sun after all the UK rain. It was the perfect place to do this. Beautiful heated pool with a relaxed atmosphere where we could always find sun loungers. Plenty of varied food with themed evenings throughout the week.Clean, comfortable, well equipped bungalows with pool towels provided. We caught the free hotel bus to Maspalomas beach and shops a few times. It runs frequently and is only a short ride to the beach.The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.     Christmas in the sun

    Loved it here! Spacious accommodation which was perfect for travelling with children. Well kept grounds, no sun bed wars at any time of the day, and a large heated pool. Loved the extra space outside the rooms and the sunbeds, perfect for quieter afternoons. Pool bar food was fab too, and all staff so helpful. Will be back!     Why are Cordial management destroying the fantastic pool bar?

    We’ve been regulars at the Sandy Golf for over 10 years. As the general state of repair of the bungalows continues to decline, the complex has three things that keep us returning. In order of importance (1) Fantastic staff, (2) fabulous pool and pool bar and (3) beautifully kept gardens. The actual bungalows rate #4 in the pecking order, as they are now very dated and in desperate need of an update. So, why would the management team at Cordial choose to break one of the best things about the complex - the pool bar ? It was always a great part of the holiday - nice food, great staff in a lovely relaxing and busy environment. But no more. Management have destroyed the menu with wholly inappropriate food choices for a pool bar. Sadly this means the bar is deserted as guests dodge the plastic food choices (although most of which were not even available during our visit, not that they were appealing anyway !). What’s really sad is that that the old menu is still available at the sister complex across the road. Makes you wonder are they trying to kill off the Sandy Golf pool bar and drive custom across the road ? Bad choice given the pool and pool bar are second only to the great staff in making us return. We ate lunch most days at the Maspalomas Gold Club as a result. Come on Cordial management team - don’t try and fix isn’t broken - you are driving your loyal customers elsewhere !!
