  Booked via onthebeach, cheap so was not expecting much in the way of comfort, and i was still let down. Althought the location is very good. My advice is if your happy with basic basic then book. If you want a holiday look elsewhere and pay a bit more. We booked for 7 nights and moved out after 2.

  21-24/4/26We 3 middle aged guys from London were back in GC for an opera night in the old town & some beach time in PdI.We found this the cheapest in LP & despite mixed reviews booked it for 3 nights at £33 per night.We checked in on a Tuesday evening & were sent upstairs/lift (2 max) to Room 205.As soon as we entered there was a musty smell so the big windows were opened looking into central covered courtyard/lightwell to air the room. They had to be closed at night as the noise below was echoey with people talking in reception, revellers returning very late & morning cleaners.There was no a/c or fan so it got stuffy again. The weather in general was humid as it had been raining.Furthermore with the courtyard covered we could not tell the weather outside to dress appropriately. The lights were on outside all night with curtains not cutting out all light. Earplugs & eye masks might help light sleepers.The room was clean with 3 thin firm (but variable) single beds with fresh sheets. A built in cupboard had plenty of coat hangers but overall there was a lack of hooks, so we had to take down pictures to hang damp towels to dry.There were few electric sockets but an extension triple adapter was in between two beds. There was no bedside table for my bed under window, however, I'd brought my own extension cable to supply my bed with charging electricity & sleep app but had to put them on a chair (from the set of 3 dining chairs with a small foldout table).The TV (PRC Sunfeel) remote was incomprehensible for connecting devices but eventually we managed to connect my iPhone via the hdmi adapter but the sound was broken so we had to listen through the phone speakers to downloaded programmes (there's nothing on the TV otherwise).Kitchen very basic with an induction hob but no kettle, microwave or toaster (or as some like air-fryer!).A tea-towel, set of the of pans (for making tea/coffee), frying pan, cutting board, utensils, crockery & cutlery were provided but no corkscrew.Fridge was new but again the cheap Chinese 'Sunfeel' brand - do not put glass bottles in door tray! The hotel must have bought a job lot from PRC but not checked the quality. There was no ice-tray in the freezing compartment which was clean and dry.There was no washing up liquid, kitchen roll or sponges. A drainage cupboard overhang the melamine surface which bloated as a result. The design was not effective. There was no under-unit lighting so food preparation was in your shadow.The shower-room/wc/sink was clean & modern. 2 small towels & a small soap each were included. Shower water pressure & temperature was fine. Tap water jet was powerfully enough to clean out razors. No toilet paper was allowed in the bowl, we used the lined bin. There were rails for clothes but no hooks. A few shelves would be useful for 3 peoples' toiletries. We discovered the roof terraces too late. They are basic but quiet & out of the wind.Overall we had a pleasant stay & would book again, maybe looking up an upgraded suite? It was quiet, friendly, clean & central. Supermarkets & food outlets close by along with public transport links & of course the beach.Ultimately it was very good value for money so one cannot really complain.

  arrived at this apartment 24th march we where given our keys from a super friendly lady miriam on reception went into our room and walked strait out the place was a complete dump went back to reception and asked is there a better room she said i could upgrade to a suite for extra cost i asked to see the room and agreed to pay like day and night very comfortable and spotless with balcony the staff are amazing and do there best in apartments that need lots of money spent on them location is amazing everything all round you

  Stayed 4 nights from Thursday until Monday. I was concerned booking it after reading reviews. However, for what we paid it more than excelled. Fantastic location, room was very dated but also very clean. Its an old building so we didnt expect modern. It was a place to sleep while we explored the island. Reception were very friendly.Location is 1min from beach/shops/restaurants/bars. 5 min to bus station where you can go all over the island for a few euros.The roof terraces on floor 5 and 6 were amazing! Towels changed every second day and room cleaned every day except Sunday and Thursday. View from room was into an internal courtyard, but for all the time we spent in the room it made no difference.I would stay again due to the location. If you are looking for cheap and cheerful then this is ideal

  Ok was a cheap get away for 5 days Good points Central locationClean apartment Apartment was serviced regularly Towels and bedding changed Negative pointsVery very datedInternal rooms just looking over central court with a glazed window was depressing Could become noisy in the evening due to raised voices from other apartments Would I stay again at this apartment - no. But definitely go back to Las Palmas
