  Amazing Hotel

  This is now my 5th visit to my favourite hotel in Gran Canaria, and once again it has been amazing. The hotel is always spotless, and the housekeeping staff work incredibly hard to keep everything looking fresh and clean.I would especially like to thank Daniel on reception, who was totally polite and professional throughout my stay. He made every effort to arrange a late check-out for me, which was greatly appreciated. Also, the young girl on reception was absolutely lovely and very welcoming.The restaurant food was amazing as always. Chefs work incredibly hard.I personally want to thank Richard in the restaurant. I absolutely love this guy — he is what makes Hotel Caserio so special. He truly puts his heart into the hotel and always makes guests feel welcome.So thank you to you all for yet another amazing stay.   Warning be aware of compulsory deposit

  Nice hotel good food. Good sun loungers. Note the hotel requires guests to pay a 150 euro "supposedly" refundable deposit at check in. I paid with a debit card and am still waiting for it to be refunded 15 days later. The hotel have since advised this may take 20 to 25 working days. I would suggest guests insist on paying in euros so as not to end up in my situation. We would like to clarify that the €150 requested at check-in is a pre-authorisation and not a final charge. Once the hotel releases it, the time it takes for the funds to become available again does not depend directly on the hotel, but on the issuing bank, the type of card used, and also the country where the card was issued. In the case of cards issued in the United Kingdom, this process can often take longer than usual due to each bank’s handling times for international transactions.We would also like to point out that this €150 deposit is clearly stated in all of our sales and booking channels, and it is also communicated again at check-in.We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the information we provide to our guests.

  Nice place but not really 4 star.

  Nice hotel, in a decent location near somer bars and restaurant. Opposite a Spar shop which was very handy. Room was basic its not 4 star would say more of a 3. Shower kept flooding causing the room to smell. Staff were friendly at the bar and restaurant area. However when checking in the staff never gave us any information to do with the hotel we were completely unaware that there was an upstairs terrace in which there is a nudist part which we acidently walked into, something to keep in mind. There was no amenities in the room apart from a small bar of soap. The beds were also two single despite being promised multiple times that they would give us a double. Lift can also take a long time but we were low down so wasn't really an issue to us. Food was basic on a night pretty much the same stuff. The chicken we had one night was also pink and we ended up unwell the next day, unsure if this was definately from the hotel so we didn't complain about it but keep this in mind. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, bedding was always fresh as there was still stains on the sheets.Pool area made up for the hotel it was lovely and plenty of sunbeds. People would reserve and not come down for hours which I wish the staff would stop people doing this. Entertainment both through the day and on a night was good. I would recommend this hotel if you know what to expect it's not a bad hotel we just expected more for what we paid.   Love this hotel, we have visited on 5 occasions wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Playa De Ingles, have previously stayed at Princess, Wakilki, Anamar, Don Miguel, Margarita and Corona Blanca. Location, staff, room and food you cannot fault, I have coeliac disease and they couldn’t be more helpful, Alexis is an asset to this hotel as are all the restaurant and entertainment staff.   Good location in Playa de Inglés. The outdoor/pool area was super nice and modern, with plenty of comfy pool chairs and sun beds. The breakfast and dinner buffet was great with different special cuisines every night and a great variety of foods. The rooms needed to be renovated. They had a nursing home vibe to them and very minimal lighting. They were not the cleanest rooms ever but they had a decent sized balcony.
