Location

    Some tips see below. This is a fun hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, good breakfast and the ‘pool’ terrace offers a great place to relax after sightseeing. However, not sure who designed the rooms or thought about those staying. 1. Bring a mug, drinks and your own water bottle. A kettle was provided but with one paper - yes paper- cup and one tea and coffee that was not replenished on our 7 day stay 2. Bring soap and shower gel- it’s not designed for the water type 3. Ask for two keys, they only gave one despite us not being a couple. Other things: side tables were ‘funky’ square lights that needed the bedside plug and were too small, the bathroom door is glass, doesn’t shut glass and no ‘noisy’ fan - only share with someone you know very well as privacy is an option. You can hear everything ! The lights are at head bumping level so watch out for this too.

    The hotel was very clean and nicely designed. The rooms were a good size and well presented. There were a lot of good features in the rooms and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and it was very well located for the major attractions of the city.     Well situated noisy room

    We stayed two nights. The room was clean and bright. The location is great - Gran Vía with everything relatively close. The check in was fast and reception staff is attentive and professional. We were on the 4th floor and our room was facing the side street yet it was very noisy. We have read previously that the rooms could be noisy so we asked for a higher floor, yet it was still very loud. The windows do not have proper sound proof. The fact that the hotel provided ear plugs in the room was a big indication that they knew it’s noisy. All they need to do is to upgrade the windows.     The Macia Five Sences was a great location for a short trip to Granada, very close to everything you want to see, also close to some bars and restaurants. The staff were great, always helpful. Rooms adequate. Spotlessly clean.     Good location, nice hotel!

    Nice hotel, clean, basic and staff very friendly. Nice size room, Had fridge too which is always a bonus! I didn’t have breakfast in as so many cafes locally which were lots cheaper and more authentic. Beds on the firm side and needed another spare pillow / sheets. Room walls very thin - so you do hear a lot more than you’d like - if you’re a light sleeper, probably not for you. Great location !
