    Very nice location near Plaza Nueva, driving and parking guidance

    My wife, daughter and I stayed two nights at AMC Granada. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to tour the historic center of Granada. It is located steps away from Plaza Nueva and the foot of Cuesta Gomérez, which is a twenty-minute uphill walk to Alhambra. The Cathedral of Granada and Royal Chapel (resting place of Ferdinand and Isabelle) are five-minute walk away. It is steps away from the bus plaza that can take you to Alhambra, (route C32), Albaicin Moorish Quarter and St. Nicholas viewpoint (route C31), and Sacromonte district (route C34).The hotel is located a restricted traffic area. If driving, you will need to notify the hotel in advance of your stay. Note this, especially if you are in a rental vehicle. There are two pistons that raise and lower at the entrance to the restricted zone. In addition, note that traffic on Gran Via (one of the streets leading to the hotel) is restricted to taxis, buses, and residents, so be aware of this if you are using Google Maps or some other navigation routing system on your approach. Parking available nearby for 23 euros.As for the room, it is simple, but sufficient. The walls were a little thin, so you can hear the sounds around you. There is a small elevator, which helps with getting you to the desired floor.     Underrated hotel!

    AMC Granada is rated as a 1-star hotel, but it definitely didn't feel like it! The room we had on the 3rd floor was spacious, extremely clean, and the white walls complemented the sunlight that soaks in when you open the windows. This depends on what side of the hotel you're in, but we also luckily had the side where the windows faced Plaza Nueva. We were lucky to just open the windows and see flamenco across the street and even the procession going down the street when it happened while being away from all the craziness!The location is also prime to all the bus stops that'll take you to the Alhambra, Sacromonte, and walking distance to the nearby shopping, eats, and hammam baths! And huge shoutout to the manager at the front desk, Pilar. She was so helpful in getting us everything we needed including answering all of our questions, helping us coordinate our delayed luggage delivery, and even being patient with my broken Spanish which you don't need to know because she's fluent in English.     Poor experience with car and check-in…

    The parking garage was extremely small and horrible to drive in. The driving instructions were also very poor, as the hotel is in driving restricted area and the traffic sign specifications are only in Spanish. They also forgot to book our car into their system and it was a mess when we arrived. Avoid with car. The room was quite small but otherwise okay. Normally we guide people with car through the parking so it is easier for them to drive in and find their spot easily, but it is true, we will make sure from now on that people know it is better to ask in the reception before driving in directly before having a spot assigned. We are sorry to hear that the room was too small for you. Next time you visit us, we recommend that you book a premium room. These are more spacious!     Room was small but neat and clean. Great location for seeing sights in Granada. Sounds of street.life went on until 5:00 am. Tricky parking but once in was okay.     worst experience of my holiday

    i forgot my airpods and called 1 hour after check out but it is gone. I am 100% sure that it was there but they said that they could not find it. Worst experience of my holiday. i would never recommend. First of all, we would like to apologise for the inconvenience; but it was not possible for us to go inside of a room that has a family inside. It would not have been a problem after the check out, even while our collegue cleaned the room, she did not find your airpods. Afte few hours, the next family went inside of the room and, as you might understand, is not possible to go in and disturb them going through their things.
