    Not a four star hotel.

    Not a four star welcome at the check in experience.The receptionist was rude and ignored us for ten minutes for no reason.We were treated as incumbents and made to wait unnecessarily.Our booking was relayed to her and clearly bias was used.Her words were “ there is a customer in front “.Reception was empty! She didn’t speak to us afterwards,no information relayed,no welcome and no room number given.Both of the staff at reception were rude, unhelpful and spoiled our experience.We don’t recommend and will not return.The toilet roll holder was broken and toilet paper was missing,however fortunately we had our own we would not be approaching reception for anything.Lightning in the room is poor to read with.The hotel is functional and at best a two star.We couldn’t wait to leave!Give the place a miss and book elsewhere.

    Arrived as part of large cycling group. Reasonably large rooms with good facilities. Appeared to be very popular with Spanish guests using the spa facilities. Good evening meal with good service. Breakfast was also good.

    We had a two night break of half board and 90 minutes per day access to the circuit in the Balneario. We were celebrating our wedding anniversaries with our friends and the hotel had decorated the beds with hearts and swan towels. It was a very nice touch. The superior double rooms were very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep. The only thing lacking was a full length mirror on a wall in the bedroom. The breakfast was fine for us, but perhaps could be a little underwhelming for others, considering it is a 4 star hotel, but we really enjoyed the evening dinner and thought it very good value.The spa was very enjoyable and you did get used to the very hot water after your first day.We would certainly recommend the experience and we found all the staff - from the reception, the dining room and the spa to be very attentive and we hope to return again some day.

    Lots of character and great value

    Situated in a small village, about 6 km off the main highway, this was a very pleasant stay over. The room was very large, clean, and had a very comfortable mattress. The room rate included access to their historical spa facility which has two natural hot spa's, 38deg and 40deg, together with a wonderful sauna. We were guided through the whole spa, sauna process and emerged relaxed and contented. There is also a dining room with very reasonable prices dishes. All of the staff, from reception to the dining area were very helpful and pleasant. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
