    2 nights in central Granada

    rating06 May 2026

Excellent location with added bonus of secure parking round the corner. The room was small and decoration was dated but adequate for our needs for a 2 night stay. Quiet night's sleep. Great price for a budget hotel. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Good choice of restaurants nearby.

    A little gem!

    rating04 Nov 2024

We booked this last minute.com and didn't expect much from a 1 star hotel at 36quid a night. We arrived at 10am asking if we could leave our bags as check in wasn't till 2pm. However we were really pleased as they said our room was ready so we could check in . The only downside was our room was on the 4th floor and there is no lift.Once we had caught our breath, we we were pleasantly surprised with our room. Yes it was small but it was nicely decorated and scrupulously clean, we has the added surprise of the key to the rooftop terrace which gave magical views of the city. The reception staff were so helpful and gave us a really useful map, advised on bus routes and great places to eat and drink. The hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the centre of town so great location. We had a really full day out in the wonderful city and didn't get back till almost midnight. We were pleased at how quiet the hotel was and how comfortable the bed was. The shower was ace too with different heads and making showing fun. We checked out the next day with another full day planned but the staff were happy to let us leave the luggage there. I'd give the narrowest hotel in the world 5 stars but the killer stairs and the fact there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room means it only gets 4.5. I'd definitely choose to stay here. Thank you for making our trip to Granda very memorable. We will be back!

    Worst guest service

    rating01 Jan 2024

Worst experience ever. The lady at the desk had little to no care for us. I asked multiple times at check out (12:00) to book a cab for us going to the train station at 15:00. She kept going on how quick it would have been for her to get a cab just by calling the taxi company a couple of minutes before departure, saying there was no need to make a booking. End of the story she never made it to get us a cab and we lost our train.

Smallest Hotel in the World is a huge find

    rating29 Jul 2023

I actually didn't stay in the hotel - The Smallest Hotel in the World - because it doesn't have a lift and I needed one, and the really lovely and very kind receptionist brought me to an annexe right beside the hotel where rooms could be accessed by a lift, though there were three steps in the hallway. The room was perfectly comfortable, with a very large bed, and with the unexpected bonus of a fairly good sized bath. The airconditioning worked and was needed during the 40 + degree heat. Breakfast was available (price wasn't included in what I paid but I could have paid separately) and there were tables under an awning right in front of the annexe, though I'm not quite sure if these belonged to the hotel or to the bar next door. I love the street, and the buzz and small shops - there's even a small supermarket just opposite the hotel. Buses to the Alhambra, Albaicín go from just around the corner and one goes along the actual c/Molinos - maybe both do, but it's a brilliant service and the frequency of the buses and the closeness of stops to the hotel meant that I didn't have to try walking up the mad hills to see the Alhambra. It is perfectly possible to walk from the Hotel Molinos to the city centre, yet the barrio feels like a real barrio with a great vegan restaurant about two or three minutes away and another serving vegetarian food just down the road. And the bar right beside it serves the most gorgeous vegetarian food too.
