I didn’t stay because of the Covid19 Virus, but I appreciated the staff's willingness to cancel the reservation and refund the fees paid.I want to return to Granada as soon as possible and will definitely book my stay in this hotel to thank them personally.

Good location for accessing Central Granada, but cannot recommend it unless you want very basic and cheap

Due to circumstances out of my control (and not my fault), I found myself in a situation where I had to choose, with little time to spare, a hotel to stay in for 3 nights over a weekend in a Granada. It's a complicated story, but I'll just say I was under the impression that I had to pick an inexpensive hotel, as well. I picked the Reino Granada since it didn't sound too bad and was in the neighborhood I wanted to stay. The Good: The staff was friendly, although as a native English speaker trying to learn Spanish I had a few language problems. They did try their best to communicate with me as they spoke uneven English and I spoke uneven Spanish. Also, I had asked for a quiet room, and indeed I did get one, at least I could not hear traffic noise or rowdy, late-night revelers on the street. The bathroom was clean and spacious, although their was a large crack in the mirror which was a first indication the some maintenance was lacking. I did have a door leading to a large enclosed patio, but I'm not sure what I was supposed to do with it. Maybe in the summer it has furniture? The Bad: The room I had was very small and rather dismal. The walls had various cracks in them and water and other stains on them. I didn't want to know what some of the stains represented. The bed was a hard as a smooth rock and it took me some time to fall asleep. Also, there didn't seem to be a mattress pad on top of the mattress, just the bottom sheet, but I didn't want to remove the sheet to find out, afraid of what I might see on the mattress. In addition, it was a chilly night in Granada and I had to raise the heat to the maximum to get the room warm. I found an extra blanket in the closet, which helped, but the room didn't seem to really warm up until early in the morning. The hallways are painted purple and just seem dark and in need of an update. Also, there is no safe (strong box) in the room, at least not in mine. While I didn't hear street noise, I did hear the loud hum, off and on at night, of some machinery or hotel equipment. I also could hear my neighbors through the wall, but at least they were not particularly loud for very long.I wouldn't call the entire hotel a dump since I was in only one room. Maybe others are better. I just didn't feel comfortable there, not because it is not safe and secure (except for the lack of a safe, if you care about that) but because my room just felt sad and tired and made me feel depressed and unsettled. And I knew I had no desire to try sleeping on that mattress again! The long, "uni"-pillow didn't help, either. As a result, I made other plans for the weekend. I did not get a refund since I had paid for my three nights to make the reservation at short notice. So I'm stuck with the bill for two hotels for a total of 5 nights, but I just could not bear the thought of staying at the Reino Granada for two more nights. You may have a different experience and different tolerances.

They have parking places in the garage nearby, and they let us stay parked three hours longer than our check out time.Professional staff. Clean room. Some problems with a mold stains on the bathroom walls in our room, but nothing too bad.

The hotel is charming compared to three stars hotels in the center city to the corner of the most important street where many shopping stores there 20 min far away from La Alhambra and generalife the staff are cool and cooperative

Very uncomfortable beds but good location

    rating12 Oct 2016

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and were pretty disappointed in the hotel. The price and location were good, but the experience as a whole was not great. When we got up to our room, it was not clean, the maids were still moping the floors and they were completely slippery and wet. The worst part about this place are the beds.. I've been to many hostels that had more comfortable beds than this.. Definitely not hotel quality. Very very hard, and I could feel all the springs; falling asleep was very difficult. Walls were very thin also.
