  Lovely greeting with free soft drink on check in and a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge. One key per room only. The normal tourist tax charged. They need to have your passport details so be prepared for some admin. I had booked (under same booking ref) 2 studios for myself, husband and two sons but on arrival the rooms were on different floors and sides of building so the unpacking and sharing of things was not easy so consider this may happen if you book similar. I’m going to reiterate first that there is absolutely no aircon either fixed or a unit to hire. This was more pivotal to our holiday than we realised when we booked and was a key factor in our holiday experience as it progressed (keep reading). Each room had the very basics. As in cutlery , crockery for literally two people so frequent washing up! It was incredibly difficult to get ready as mirrors and plug points badly thought out (one was even behind a drilled in headboard) the bathroom has a mirror and plug but that was just too hot for a lady trying to do her hair and makeup. You couldn’t have the fan near you (if you were lucky enough to have one) if you were also doing your hair etc. Higher floor room- facing road (just about see the sea) which is constant with traffic and tooting horns at all hours. There is a bus stop and bins outside so noise at 5 am for bin lorry and the hold ups for buses causing frustration for impatient drivers. No aircon whatsoever available spent a week sweating. Getting ready was a challenge and the fan did little to assist. Downstairs room- facing the courtyard area. Slightly Cooler room but it did not get a fan and again no option of hiring an aircon unit. There was a wasps nest outside but once reported was dealt with swiftly by the maid! The handle fell off the security bars door and was reported but it’s not fixed. Sheets and towels changed half way through the week. Basic rooms but the cleanest I’ve seen. You are given washing up liquid, sponge, tea towel. We all got bitten but that was not helped by having to have the patio door open all night so we didn’t overheat. Another reason we needed aircon. Pool area had plenty of free sunbeds but the pool was very warm and small plus the shower was warm so not rest bite from the heat of the room. At times the pool had groups drinking in it which was a bit annoying if you wanted to get it and just have a little swim in a circle. At the end of our holiday a child did a poo in the pool and someone else was sick in the men’s toilet. We agreed with them closing the pool and the area around it but the staff was very insistent we left the garden area as well and go to our rooms. They really only needed to chain off the pool and put a sign up and lick the men’s toilet. When we said we had checked out we were told to just sit at the front of the hotel. We argued we needed to use the shower room but she argued back until we spoke to the manager. Not a good ending. They served food but the wait was 30-45 mins after ordering (maybe we were unlucky) so we didn’t do this much as the food was not worth the wait instead we went to the local supermarket for fresh bread etc and cooked ourselves. That said the rules of the pool is a min spend and you cannot have your own food at all. These apartments could be so much better with aircon either fixed or units to hire and a cooler pool temperature. Our stay was end June beginning July. Postive: Good location for the priceVery Clean ( and I’m fussy) Lovely manager Short walk to Reggie Reggie beach and ferry across the bay and super market. Shower room and baggage storage for late flights Negative:Very hot rooms (no aircon) Staff a bit rude at times (could be just the language/culture barrier) Road noise at front (could have been less if we could have closed our door)Mosquitos ( could have been less bitten if had aircon and door shut) Small/ warm pool (not refreshing) Our rooms were not together despite booked at same online provider. Anyone can walk in and use the bar/restaurant/pool and walk up to the rooms so overall security not ideal Other: there was a safe in the room but not given a key. We didn’t ask for one but would have been better to have one.Wardrobe had hangers but no pole rail so if you brought your own hangers they won’t go on so I hung hangers from hangers which was ok I hope this has helped. I’m trying to not be negative as we had a lovely holiday but it could have been amazing with a few tweaks and we wanted to ensure others had the full facts.

  Exceptional value for money.The accommodation whether a studio or a one bedroom apartment are ideal for a relaxing holiday.(We have used both) All the staff are friendly, helpful and first class. The bar and food menus are not over priced If you simply want to relax in a very friendly place then this small gem is for you.

  My husband and I have just returned from a long weekend at these apartments for the first time. We have been to Ibiza several times but usually go All Inclusive. I can honestly say, we will never do that again. We had the most amazing time at Apartamentos Zodiac.Yes the rooms are basic and would definitely benefit from a microwave BUT they are clean. The beds are comfortable. There is a hot, powerful shower in the bathroom. There is a table with chairs in the accommodation as well as a table and chairs in the entrance porch area. There is also a full length mirror on the wall in the bedroom area. and a powerful fan above the beds (no air conditioning). There are black out curtains which are a massive bonus. We had 3 lovely peaceful nights and slept perfectly. I cannot speak highly enough of the family that run the apartments. They work very hard. They are so friendly and accommodating. The drinks are cheap but decent measures. The beer is lovely. The food is very reasonable and SO nice. Probably the best breakfast I’ve had in Ibiza, especially the omelette.Cannot wait to book again to return next year. Thank you so much for the best weekend in Ibiza as a couple but also meeting friends out there as well. Sarah & Alex Capon

  Wonderful family run apartments. Great location and close to beach. Spotlessly clean, good facilities and lovely breakfast. The staff coulda’t be more helpful and friendly.We will definitely be returning next year. Thankyou Ken & Sharon

  We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of October. Having read other reviews this can make you sceptical but based on our experience we couldn't fault anything about this hotel. The staff were very friendly from the start and we had some good banter with the locals. The studio room was perfect for our needs. Good powerful shower and nice and clean well equipped room. Restaurant and bar absolutely spot on. Prices very good value. We attended the closing party and were made to feel very welcome. Free food and sangria! Perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return next year! Thanks team Zodiac
