    Absolutely fabulous hotel

    Returned to UK today having spent a week at Anfora Hotel. We travelled in a group, so I hadn’t really researched before arrival, and what a lovely surprise. Firstly the hotel is mid sized, and modern. It is immaculate, not a single spec of dust anywhere. The room itself was lovely, good sized bed, fabulous shower for pressure and hot water. All works well. Sleek and modern style. One slight (tiny) point is no full hanging space for dresses but honestly my dresses were fine. It’s a 3/4 space for hanging. Plenty of hangars. We had a room with a pool view (215) which was great. We stayed B&B, and breakfast every day was fabulous. Plenty of choice, cereals, pastries, hot and continental. Tables cleared efficiently and staff very friendly. We didn’t dine at hotel in the evening. There are 2 pools, and pool at front of hotel opens at 0900 and rear pool at 1000. Ni rushing or grabbing beds, plenty available all day. Very relaxed and grown up vibe. The hotel is a 3 minute walk into Es Cana which made it the perfect base. The check in and check out process was faultless. What an exceptional hotel, we are already booking to return in 2027.     Nice modern hotelLovely clean rooms.Beautiful pools and plenty of sunbeds. Couple of minute walk to the beach.Breakfast was ok plenty of choice.Would of like buffet dinner not alcarte.Definitely a hotel i would return to.     It's still lovely after the 3rd visit.. Rooms are clean & maybe a bit on the small side but again served us well.. The hotel is clean throughout & always smells lovely.. Breakfast has numerous choices, but sometimes the food under hot plate could be lukewarm & sometimes cold... The staff are lovely & will always be pleasant & helpful.. Reason for only 4* this time was due to the back pool that had a lot of children taking over all the spaces, including the jacuzzi, which was full of kids & inflatables, it became very chaotic at times.The front pool was quieter but has less sun. Apart from the weather at the beginning of our holiday, we enjoyed our time here, but certain aspects did put a little damper on it but still a lovely place to stay.     Lovely hotel

    On arriving our room wasn’t ready as we were on an early flight but reception let us drop our bags and they were kept in a locked room.Rooms are clean and modern we had a balcony overlooking the front pool. Shower gel, shampoo etc all provided along with small fridge, safe, kettle snd hairdryer. If ladies are taking maxi dresses there wasn’t anywhere long enough to hang them, the wardrobe was only long enough for tops (not sire if this os the same on all rooms.Staff are all friendly and helpful, breakfast is good with breads, meat, cheeses, cooked breakfast items and fruit.We were half board so also had evening meals. I have to say these were not good, mostly cold or luke warm so I would advise going just bread and breakfast. There are plenty of places to eat and we soon decided to eat out at lunch so that if tea was disappointing at least we’d had a nice meal. Pool areas are clean, comfortable loungers, bean bags, floor cushions and the hotel supplies pool towels no need to pay deposits.The hotel is minutes walk from the beach, shops, ferry boat, taxi rank and bus stop.We had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel but not for half board.     Annoying music

    The hotel is clean & the staff are friendly. However the constant instrumental music that it played throughout the hotel, at both pools & on your balcony is mind numbing. It is apparently designed to be relaxing music but it is just annoying every day. If you want peace and quiet this is definitely not the hotel for you. This music is apparently a management directive. Sorry not everyone wants to hear the same music every day. Our speakers are always turned to neutral, guest free zones. The Anfora Ibiza concept is one of clean relaxation, both in aesthetics and atmosphere. The playlists accomodate to this concept but we don’t repeat the same one during the same week. We try to create a space for everyone by controling the music volume in all areas. We maintain the front pool with less volume, whereas the back pool has normally a higher volume for those who prefer being in a more lively zone. When you talked to us about this, we offered to maintain the front pool at an even lower level during your stay, which we are doing, to make it more confortable for you.We also suggested a room changing, according to availability, to an area where the music wouldn’t reach the balconies, as we have a line of rooms overlooking a quiet side street that leads to our parkings, away from the pools, where the music is played.Wishing you a happy stay with usKind regards
