  'Welcome to the Karma hotel'

  Flights were cancelled and this was the cheapest place we could get a room.We looked forward to just enjoying the room and being lucky to have even got one as the new flight was 6pm the next day.When we got in the room!!!Without trying to be rude We assumed the price was hiked up due to the hundreds of people needing rooms after their flight was cancelled.The location is lovely, the beach right there and shops and bars near by, but the inside, the furniture, no aircon, light fixtures broken with wires hanging out. There was no sockets near the beds.£170 for 12 hours, no breakfast, Water, or a fridge to keep water in. Everybody is different and probably not as picky as me. A fault with myself I know but I wouldn't have stayed if I didn't have to. oh and no smoke alarms. This is not a staff problem because they were lovely and allowed me to sleep on the seat downstairs while waiting for the flight as room had to be vacated at 11am.   Fabulous hotel.

  Fabulous hotel with a spectacular sea view. Large room and balcony. Yes there was no air conditioning but the comfort and view made up for it. One star hotel but I would give it 5 for comfort, views and the staff were excellent with great service. We had a great time and would highly recommended it.   Great hotel in a perfect location

  If you're looking for a modern hotel with all mod cons, this isn't the place for you. However, the location and views are fabulous. Twenty minute walk to the left of the hotel will take you to the port and main square of old town. 30 minutes to the right of the hotel or a short bus ride will take you to Playa D'en Bossa. The view of the beach directly outside the hotel door is spectacular. The rooms are spacious but extremely basic, no air con, but a large pedestal fan, very few sockets, so take an extension lead, no fridge or kettle. Hairdryer attached to the wall in bathroom. We stayed in a standard room at the back of the hotel which had an awful outlook onto the main road, no balcony just a window and double glazing was rubbish and lots of noise from traffic and the bars. Directly outside our room was three huge recycling bins, which all of the bars used to empty their glass bottles in constantly and the council waste vehicles turned up at 1am and again at 6am to empty them, so take ear plugs, or you'll be kept awake with the noise. The beds and furniture were dated but beds were comfortable and room was very spacious, clean, towels and sheets changed daily. Bathroom has hand soap and shower gel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We stayed room only so had breakfast in a lovely cafe with a patisserie which sold sandwiches and lovely hot drinks, smoothies milk shakes etc and it was so cheap. There's a taxi rank outside the hotel about 100 metres away and it's only a 10 minute journey from the airport. We paid €14 euros each way. There's a huge selection of bars and restaurants directly outside the hotel with lots of choice. A lovely Thai restaurant next door lots of tapas bars, Mexican, Italian and fish restaurants all along the beachfront and most of them are happy for you to just sit and enjoy a drink, even if you're not eating. We used the city boat from the port to get about and visited Talamanca and Santa Eulalia. The old town and harbour is buzzing with live music and loads of restaurants, but certainly not rowdy. There's a sports bar directly behind the hotel showing various sports on numerous big screens. The beach is clean and clear sea which is safe for children. Hotel checkout is 11am but there's a shower room to use and they take care of your luggage until you leave. The hotel bar is very reasonably priced and a fabulous spot to people watch on modern comfy chairs. All in all we had a wonderful 5 night stay and will definitely return. If this hotel had air con and a pool, it would definitely be 3* for it's location and views, but then you'd probably pay twice as much to stay. A perfect place to stay to get out and about and explore the island.   Old School charm in a great location

  We booked this hotel online, sight unseen, principally for it's proximity to Ibiza Town - which is walkable from here. The staff here are excellent, the room was clean, the bed was firm and comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. Prime position in the bay. This is a dated but charming hotel - they offer breakfast but we figured we might have a better selection on the seafront or around town. When booking we paid a little extra in order to secure a room facing the sea - glad we did. The rear facing rooms most likely had some traffic noise. We too had a fair bit of noise from the beach during the day or from the many arriving planes heading for the airport. Early morning brought street or beach cleaning noise, but overall the volume wasn't too bad. This hotel has typically thin walls so I STRONGLY recommend taking ear plugs for total peace! Furthermore, the hotel does NOT have air conditioning - having visited in May this was not a problem but I imagine that during the height of summer it could prove extremely uncomfortable. They provide a fan on a stand but that just wouldn't cut it in July/August! The furnishings are very old and basic (but as stated - the bed was super comfortable). On returning to the hotel in the afternoons and later in the evening we would order drinks on the main hotel ground floor terrace which was a great spot for watching the world go by. Overall we loved our stay here. Old world charm. Not for those seeking high end accommodation. This is the last of the original buildings on the seafront of Figueretas and we will mourn the day it is sold and snapped up by a big hotel chain and pulled down for a monstrosity of a block, as will likely happen one day.   If your looking for 5 Star your in the wrong place! But if you want a quirky slice of Ibiza History clean basic, lovely staff and a location that makes you smile every time you walk out the door!
