    Great frontline location

    rating02 Apr 2026

Beachfront, great location for a beach break. Rooms are basic but very clean, daily cleaning of rooms is available.Room had a fridge but no kettle or tea and coffee facilities. Our room had a lovely sea view and huge balcony with two double bedrooms. There is a bar onsite which offers daily promotions (2 glasses of wine and two pieces of focaccia €8) or 2 for 1 Aperol Spritz. Bar has no atmosphere but it is nice to sit on the terrace in the sun during the afternoon. Pizza from the bar is tasty and starts from €14. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would advise to opt for breakfast buffet as there were not many other options around the area and prices are high.. buffet is selfService and had a good selection, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, muesli, pastries, cheese, cold meats, omelettes, scrambled egg, boiled egg, fried eggs, beans, bacon, salchichas (disappointingly all served cold however), fruit juices and Tea and coffee available from Machines -not great. Pool area with towels provided for a deposit and right on gorgeous beaches. 15 min walk into Ibiza town. We had a great relaxing stay despite not much being open around the area so not many food or drink options available nearby when we stayed.Restaurants that were open were just ok.. overpriced for the quality they offered. Very few of the bars and restaurants all along the promenade were open.

    Hotel in a great location.

    rating26 Aug 2025

Great view, great location. Breakfast was good - wide enough selection. Hotel staff is helpful and very responsive. Rooms are clean and pleasant to stay in. Occasionally the WI-FI speed is slow, but it works. Considering that it is a three-star hotel, it definitely met expectations. Impossible to Sleep, No Sound Insulation at All

    rating23 Jul 2025

Nice location (though it's super loud outside), very nice view from the sea view rooms, but terrible sound insulation(forget about getting a good night’s sleep). Doors in the corridor slam super loudly and conversations in adjacent rooms are easily heard. At first, the price seemed reasonable. We were aware of potential issues and didn’t mind them too much, as we’re a party couple and expected some noise(not this much definitely). But after staying here, I’d say even this price is too high for the quality of service provided. We later realized that for just a bit more, we could have had a much better experience at nearby accommodations.Side note: We booked a superior twin room with sea view via Booking but at check-in the guy at reception tried to give us a standard room, saying that’s what we were entitled to for the price we paid. I showed him the confirmation email and receipts from Booking, but he claimed Booking had listed the wrong price. He made us wait for his manager. The manager came and said this has happened a lot with Booking recently and they will never work with Booking again. After a bunch of pointless discussions, the hotel manager asked us to pay €70 more (instead of the €100 the receptionist initially demanded). I’m still trying to figure out whether we were scammed or if it really was Booking’s mistake, as the property claimed(email traffic ongoing with Booking...).We paid for a 7-night stay, and based on their math, the price difference between the standard room (with a construction view and very basic furniture) and the superior sea view room was €10 per night. Anyway, I guess don't do your booking via Booking at least for this hotel. Good budget hotel, great air con & great location

    rating03 Jul 2025

Solo holiday to see Calvin Harris. Checked in around midnight, very easy. Room 117. Terrible view onto a small thin courtyard & wall with no sun all day! Two single beds, fridge & small bathroom. Comfy bed & hard pillow. Very clean. Asked for a kettle and one was delivered straight away on a tray with 2 cups, spoons & a tea towel. Walls were paper thin, could hear the guy next door coughing his guts up 🤢also heard a lady when I got out the lift one afternoon, auditioning for horn pub if you get what I mean!! 🙈Sounds quite negative but on the plus side the air con was fab & it’s literally a 10 second walk to the beach. Breakfast wasn’t included and I paid 14 euros for it one morning. Would not recommend, not good value for money - not a great selection of food. There’s a Lidl & mcds just up the road. I used the bus to go everywhere, airport 3.60 euros, number 10 and to Ushuaia. Don’t get ripped off by taxis! Pool very small & everyone had put their towels down by 9am so nowhere to sit which was annoying. Overall would stay again (take ear plugs) as good value for money compared to other hotels in the area & in a good location. Yes, it's only 3 stars and cheap for the area, but the negatives are just too significant for the price

    rating04 Jun 2025

Let's start with the positives:- Great location, right on the beach, lots of restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the vicinity, Dalt Villa reachable on foot. Several (slow, small) ferries stop right outside.Great view from the premium rooms, especially on higher floors- Pool right on the promenade (but of course separated), with a beautiful view- Nice reception area, common areas and terrace. Very fairly priced vending machine.- Surprisingly good gym (in-house, no need to leave the building anymore) that puts many 4-star hotels to shame, with sea views even- Decent, and flexible cleaning, I had my room cleaned as late as 3pm after putting the green sign on the door handle. I found a few stray hairs around the wash basin when I first entered the room, but nothing major- Good mattress firmness for my taste- An email which I sent prior to my stay was answered relatively quickly and helpfully- My request for a slightly later check out time was accommodatedBut now, the negatives:- Noise isolation is a big issue. Not just between the rooms, but also to the hallway (it's almost like your room door isn't fully closed, you can hear people talking and walking in the corridor that clearly, and housekeeping making a ruckus will definitely wake you), and also the sliding door to the balcony does a poor job at keeping plane, ferry and promenade noise out. - What makes sleeping even more difficult is that the balcony curtain leaves a gap both to the floor and the far wall. Getting the room completely dark is impossible. Inexplicably long and quite thin and soft pillows. That's a matter of taste, but they didn't match mine.- The fridge doesn't do much cooling, items put into it are barely below room temperature the next morning.- Painfully slow WiFi in the room, common areas and by the pool, unusable on the balcony - Only a low table on the balcony, no cushions on the plastic chairs- General wear-and-tear in the room and bathroom. At least the superior rooms need a complete renovation. - Very few sunbeds around the pool get sunshine all day, and nothing is being done about early-morning sunbed "reservations" towels. Towel deposit (€10) is annoying and anachronistic.- Parking for a scooter outside the hotel was difficult to find most days- Bizarrely, housekeeping took my empty contact lens container on the second day. As it's obviously nothing of value, it must have been a strange mistake. Unfortunately they are only sold together with lens fluid so I had to spend almost €10 to replace it.Overall, I will not stay at Ibiza Playa Hotel again due to the mentioned severe negatives. They might be forgivable at €100 per night, but at over €160 for a superior room (without breakfast), they are not acceptable. If you're not a "fussy sleeper", the state of the rooms is not an issue to you, and you have an EU SIM card with plenty of data, it might be a good choice.
