    More Finance-Driven Than Hospitality-Driven

    At this price point, I expected a much stronger hospitality experience.After a 15-hour flight, the check-in process was frustrating. Being left waiting in reception for several hours, with little sense of urgency or care, set the tone for the stay. The room itself was pleasant, but the overall experience felt underwhelming.The biggest issue was service. Too often, I found myself having to chase for assistance rather than feeling looked after. Across the stay, the interactions felt inconsistent, undertrained and lacking the warmth you expect from a premium hotel.Breakfast was average, late check-out was not possible, and although the hotel was described as full, it never really felt that way.Overall, this felt less like a service-led hospitality business and more like a place focused on the commercial side of the operation. There is clearly potential, but the people, training and guest experience need serious attention.

    Stayed during flash flood. Before then, hotel was amazing. During the floods, the hotel was horrible. We were tourists who did not know the area and were offered NO assistance with getting out of the hotel and moving to a safe location. Horrendous support with no care or concern for hotel guests after the initial few hours. We were a party of 8 in 4 rooms and were totally and completely left to fend for ourselves in getting to a safe, dry location with food, water and electricity. Totally shambolic and upsetting. Devastating for our holiday. Shocking care for guests for a large chain which should have a health and safety policy and a way planned to help guests and get them to safety.

    We had a great stay here! the staff is amazing, friendly and attentive, especially reception and bellboys. The room was spotless, super clean and cozy. Besides, the location is perfect, central and close to everything. I definitely recommend this hotel, I used to come when it was called Sir Joan but now it has certainly improve as NH Collection. Great change!     We had a fantastic experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable.Salvaje Restaurant was also very good, we really enjoyed the food.
