Location

This appealing apartment hotel is located in on of the peaceful side streets and is right in the tourist area of Puerto del Carmen. A beautiful sand beach is only 600m away. The various shopping facilities and entertainment venues in the lively centre can be reached within only a few minutes on foot. A bus stop may be found only 600 m from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 67 apartments and 4 double rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services and facilities include a baggage storage service, a safe, a TV room, a car hire service, a fax machine and a smoke alarm. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage (no extra charge) and a car park (no extra charge). Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms can be booked. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. All kitchenettes come with a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Sport

The freshwater pool complex includes indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated, as well as a children's swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Active guests can enjoy cycling/mountain biking. A wide range of indoor sports are offered, including aerobics or, for a fee, a gym, table tennis and billiards. The wellness area's offerings provide pure relaxation and include a spa and massage treatments. For a fee, a sauna is also available.

Meals

The dining area includes a non-smoking restaurant and a bar. Catering options include half board and all-inclusive. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.

    Another great holiday at The Aqua Suites the staff are what make our stay so memorable as other reviews say the breakfast is fantastic & staff so attentive the rooms are big & you have your own sunbeds so no rushing to reserve one here the bar is fairly priced with good selection & Puerto del Carmen is our favourite town to stay with so many restaurants.Dont listen to people's little moans this really is the best hotel

    An excellent hotel that generally surpassed my expectations from the get go. Staff were 100% brilliant, all of them treated me with kindness and a smile and this really means a lot when you’re solo traveling. The food was probably the best bit, the breakfast each morning was excellent, I also went half board and the food in the evening was delicious as well 👍 excellent facilities and the drinks are fairly priced in the bar, so I was very please with this.Sadly couple of things let this place down - the first was the pool temperature, absolutely freezing both times I tried to get in, couldn’t last more than a few minutes, some pool heating would really help. The other was the air conditioning in my room, which was completely ineffective. Maybe I got the bad room, but the air conditioner did nothing and my room was very hot most nights, despite having the air conditioning running near constantly. I’m a light sleeper as it and sadly this will probably stop me booking here again.Overall an enjoyable stay but the two negatives are big for me, as I love swimming and value my sleep. Hope these can be rectified for future guests :)

    We just spent 14 nights here - what an incredible hotel. Every one so friendly, staff work tirelessly, breakfast amazing and such a totally relaxing atmosphere. We had a pool view room and were lucky enough to enjoy the sun on the balcony all day up until late afternoon. All rooms have sunbeds on balcony/terrace so no need for sunbed wars here. We were bed and breakfast so ate out most nights but did enjoy the bbq night at the hotel - absolutely delicious food! Also enjoyed a few cocktails in the bar during the daily 5 to 6pm happy hour!!

    We have just got back from here, and it was our first visit to Aqua Suites, but definitely not our last! (Booked after reading all of these amazing reviews!) We cannot fault anything here at all. Amazing friendly staff, who all work so hard to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and as stress free as possible. Spotlessly clean, every time you looked around there would be someone mopping or sweeping up. No fight for sun loungers, plenty for everyone. One large pool, one small pool, and an adults only jacuzzi. We only had breakfast there, but what an amazing spread it was. Continental, "full English", cereals, pastries, fruits, yogurts, toast with jams, marmalades and honey. All washed done with coffee, tea, or a number of fruit juices.The bar was very reasonably priced for a hotel bar, and was never too busy.We had the lower ground floor junior Suite which was lovely. The only thing as mentioned on here, is that there is more privacy on the upper floors as you do have people walking past you during the day. (If you do decide to stay here and go on the upper floor, there are a number of steps for you to take so if you have mobility issues please be aware.) The room itself has a small fridge with ice compartment, a kettle and coffee machine, (or instant coffee sachets if you prefer), and there is a welcome bottle of wine and water in the fridge when you arrive. They give you a large bottle of water a day when the cleaner comes round.Lovely sized bathroom with a vey good sized shower, and the air-conditioning was a very welcome relief in the afternoon and night time.We were really sorry to leave here at the end of our 10 night stay.The hotel is at the top of steep slope, and if you do wander down to the main strip at night to the plentiful bars and restaurants down there, I'd suggest a taxi ride back, it typically cost us 4 or 5 euros to get back. And for anyone not wanting to jump on the holiday company bus to transfer when you land, it will cost you about 20 euros, (with a tip) to get here, it's about 10 minutes from the airport.

    The location is superb in a nice quiet area but only 800 metres from the Esplanade.The hotel has a really good atmosphere with fantastic staff willing to help regardless of their role.The staff at breakfast were really good smiling all the time and helping everyone.The staff at the restaurant at night were equally as good. Stopping to chat and not once were we rushed.The reception staff were very friendly and efficient. It was so lovely to have a glass of sparkly on arrival.The rooms were fabulous so huge and filled with a number of facilities- a kettle, coffee machine, fridge, tea and coffee which were refilled daily plus a big bottle of water.The rooms were cleaned daily and the 8 nights we were there the bedding was changed 3 times. The whole place was immaculate.It was 800 metres from the promenade in a very quiet area.We loved it so much we are going back again in September.Other clients we talked to said they had been numerous times and no wonder it’s a little gem and l would not hesitate to recommend Aqua Suites.
