  NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL - NO RESTAURANT ONLY POOR PUBLIC CAFETERIA

  BLUF: This is not a 4* hotel. Not easy to find as it is on the same site as a large hospital. Athough the hotel states it has parking, this is not dedicated, and guests have to use an insecure public car park below the hotel, for which there is an additional €10 charge not stated at booking. The car park is not easy to find, and you need to walk back up to ground level, and then into the hotel from the outside to check in. There is a weird double lift system to move from the car park to the hotel using your room key. Rooms are large, with a good bathroom, but no kettle, no coffee/tea, no drinking water etc which surely must be a requirement for this level of hotel. There is no restaurant for dinner, only a poor bar service cafeteria which services hospital staff and hospital visitors with very limited food choices and all the ambiance of a bus station. After a 850km drive through Spain, dinner was endured rather than enjoyed, but we did not bother with breakfast. Overall a huge disappointment.

  Nice and close to the hospital...

  I stayed here for a week waiting for a friend to be discharged from hospital.The hotel is really well situated for that being just across the road.Front of house staff are amazing (thanks Antonio, Aytana and Jose) they all deserve a pay rise. Taking one star off for the rude waitress in the cafe/bar.

  Modern hotel but far from the city center

  The hotel is not located in Leon. It is in a hospital area, but there were no noise problems as the hospital is closed at night. During the day, the area was very busy but without significant ambulance noise.Parking is not included, but at night it was not difficult to park in the surrounding area (living area) at +- 5 minutes walking.The building is very recent and modern and the rooms are very spacious.Our rate did not include breakfast and we had to pay an extra fee for it (9 euros per person). Alternatively there is the cafeteria option but it was not used. There wasn't much variety, but it included the basics. The service was weak, as only one employee appeared very sparsely to organize things.

  Hotel at the outskirts of Leon, next to the hospital. Excellent staff.

  The rooms were very spacious, with a fully equipped roomy bathroom that had both a bathtub and a shower, a wide working desk and big comfortable beds. The staff at the reception desk were extremely friendly, serviceable and professional. I would also like to mention that the cleaning ladies were quiet during their work at the rooms next to us, and very friendly too. The location is a bit far off the city centre, but there is a bus stop just next to the hotel with 2 bus lines that get you to the historic centre in about 20-25 minutes.The hotel uses the public parking of the hospital next to it, at a special reduced rate of 10 euros/day.

  Overall nice hotel, ok reception, BUT the employees seemed forced to be untruthful when it came to whether or not the A/C worked. The window to one of our rooms was open upon our arrival and the so called A/C or ventilation system had to be turned on. It started, but there was no cool air.We were offered to change rooms and embarked upon a wild goose chase trying to find a cooler room on the floor below. The window in the new room was also wide open, letting in the hot outside air. The A/C did not work there either so we stayed in the original rooms.Large rooms and large bathrooms. The shower was a bit small for the size of the bathroom and the shower door in one room was very creaky.The employees tried hard, but the management was clearly lacking.
