    We arrived at the Blue Sea last night and by this morning we were well away from the awful hotel and truly disgusting area of the island. It’s very basic and noisy. We’ve moved to Port de Sóller which is paradise for €100 more. Hotel Manager, Owner at BLUESEA Mediodia, responded to this review Dear Billy,Thank you for your honest feedback.     Value & AtmosphereIf you are looking for a budget-friendly stay, this hotel offers excellent value for the price. However, you get what you pay for regarding the "chill" factor. The atmosphere is quite loud, and the dining area feels more like a busy canteen than a relaxed restaurant. The rooms also have poor sound isolation, so expect to hear a lot of what’s happening in the hallways and neighboring rooms.The RoomThe rooms are basic and definitely not the highlight. Our first room had a broken doorframe, though the staff moved us to a new one immediately. While the second room was better, it still had no balcony and no view. On the plus side, everything was kept very clean.Service & FoodThe staff is wonderful—very nice, friendly, and helpful. We also really enjoyed the food; the quality was good and consistent throughout our stay.LocationThe location is perfect.     Great location, clean hotel, food very good. Could use a kettle in the room as it took ages to get a drink out of meal times. Snacks were poor. Refused entry to the restaurant as it was too busy. NEVER had that before!
