    Lovely 5 night stay at Hotel Astoria. Very welcoming, during check a welcome drink of sparking wine was offered along with a top up to take to our room. Food was brilliant, the buffet was well stocked and food was good quality, the best desserts at a buffet I have had. Brilliant again for lactose free guests. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful, clearly enjoy working at the hotel. Everywhere was very clean and well presented.The larger pool had a great atmosphere yet chilled and relaxed, with lovely staff and drinks delivered to lounger with snacks which is a great touch.

    The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much. There was a welcome glass of fizz on arrival. Food quality was excellent with a wide variety of choices plus vegan and gluten free options. A great waiter service but the drinks were a bit pricey. Towels very good quality with clean towels every day and regular change of pool towels on request. Rooms cleaned every day. There was no noise heard from other rooms or in the corridors. Mostly couples and being adults only it had a nice quiet atmosphere. There are two pools with the front pool being more lively with a DJ and the rear pool tranquil. It’s a short walk to a gorgeous lively beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back there.

    Amazing hotel with such lovely staff

    I stayed at the end of May for 5 days with my husband, daughter and her fiancé.A lovely warm welcome with a cold drink from Reception when we arrived at the hotel.ALL the staff were so friendly, always smiling and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them.The food and service were exceptional. A big thank you and shout out to Garcia, Marcos, Mamuso and Lenka et al for making our holiday such a happy one. Such a nice vibe and very relaxing, just what we wanted.Everywhere at the hotel was kept immaculately clean and well maintained.Our rooms were very spacious with a nice balcony. The pool and pool area were cleaned regularly. There is no problem getting a sun bed (very comfy). We only used the quiet pool area but the other one looked nice too. The entertainment every night was brilliant.Would 100 percent recommend this hotel and go back tomorrow if I could.See you next year!

    The hotel is excellent, and located an easy, flat 20 minute walk to the town centre. A nearby bus (324, 315) will take you there in 5 minutes. The food was very good with various options (full fat, vegan, gluten free, etc). There is no danger of going hungry if you go half board.The staff throughout the hotel were first class, and obviously care about the clients - they couldn't do enough for the customer - highly rated.The evening entertainment was mixed. There was something on every evening with a couple of the performers being fairly average, but acceptable, to the very high standard of others acts. Some of the performers had the customers up dancing.Although the hotel was close to a main road, there was no noise to keep you awake at night, and even during the day time by the pool, the traffic noise was NOT intrusive. One really positive thing was that there was NO SUNBED early bookers !! No 6.00 in the morning towels going down, so there no need to worry about getting one of the very comfortable poolside beds, with their huge umbrellas. Peaceful and easy going.A few yards away, and separate from the hotel there is another place (Kimera) which the hotel clients can use, currently free, with a large pool, more space, and non-stop music (if that's what you want). It has more of a club atmosphere.Highly recommended hotel.

    It’s a lovely hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there. Everything was clean and it’s super queit. We slept better than at home. Everynight there is a show you can go to. It is also located like 5 minutes from a bautiful beach and the city is also nice. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always smiling and keen to help you. We especially like Lenka who welcomes you at dinner. She is very kind and speaks all the languages you can think of. The value for the money is great. Although at May when we were there its a bit cheaper.
