    We stayed at MLL Palma Bay Club Resort from 31 May and unfortunately our experience was disappointing overall.We booked this holiday based on the facilities and all-inclusive offering advertised and, in reality, much of what influenced our booking decision was either unavailable or significantly reduced.During our stay we found that multiple areas of the resort appeared closed or inaccessible. Several bars shown around the complex were not operating, including the pool bar, another bar near the second pool and additional facilities within the adjoining area. This effectively left one location across the complex for obtaining basic refreshments such as coffee and soft drinks, often requiring a long walk across the site.What made this more frustrating was that alternative coffee facilities shown around the complex required additional payment, which felt inconsistent with the all-inclusive experience we believed we had booked. To be clear, alcohol availability itself was not our concern — our concern was that ordinary refreshments and facilities appeared significantly reduced compared with expectations.The snack offering was particularly disappointing and not what we expected from an all-inclusive holiday. During our stay, what was available in the snack area consisted largely of fruit, basic sliced salami, cheese and bread provided in bags, with very limited variety or hot options. We appreciate snack availability may vary, but this did not reflect the standard or experience we reasonably expected when booking.Our room also had no functioning air conditioning. After raising this during our stay, an engineer attended at approximately 22:15 one evening and attempted repairs until around 22:30. We were initially offered a move to accommodation across the road but declined as it did not feel suitable for us. We were eventually moved to another room at around 23:00 simply to obtain working air conditioning.Whilst we appreciated that a solution was eventually found, having to pack, move rooms and settle into a different room late at night several days into a holiday is not something we expected and it took away from what should have been a relaxing break.Unfortunately, after moving rooms, we then encountered cockroaches within the accommodation.One particularly unpleasant incident happened in the bathroom when my fiancée unexpectedly stood on one. It was upsetting and genuinely distressing at the time — especially after already spending days dealing with unavailable facilities, poor food provision and then being moved rooms late at night just to obtain basic comfort. Instead of finally feeling settled after the room move, we were left feeling uncomfortable using the room and unable to properly relax afterwards.To add to the experience, following our return to the UK both adults in our party became unwell with gastrointestinal symptoms beginning before departure and continuing after returning home. We cannot confirm the cause and are not making assumptions, however we were the only two members of our household of five who travelled and ate at the resort, and the symptoms developed at almost the same time. Given everything else experienced during the stay, it unfortunately added to an already disappointing end to the holiday.To be fair, staff did eventually attempt to resolve the air conditioning issue and communication was polite throughout. However, for us the overall experience did not reflect the holiday that had been advertised or the all-inclusive experience we expected.We documented issues throughout the stay and raised them whilst still in resort.Overall, we left feeling disappointed and would not return.

    Having read some disparaging reviews we were a little concerned as to what we would find at the MLL Palma Bay. Our 10 day visit was lovely. The staff from reception to the chefs and bar... were very helpful and friendly. Our room was pleasant if in need of a bit of TLC regarding some aspects relating to wear and tear but it was super clean and comfortable. Noise ingress from the rooms next door was noticeable but generally ok. I had seen some rather damning reviews relating to the meals; comments that I believe based on our experience are not justified. The breakfast offer is extensive catering for those who like a cold buffet to those seeking a filling hot 'meal' with copious amounts of coffee and juices available. As for the lunch and evening meals there was a great range of salads and main courses which without fail offered up a tasty fish course, meat option(s) and sufficient for anyone seeking a vegetarian cuisine. Yes, despite being on a fully inclusive package we were offered and took the €3 per person per day to access unlimited beer and / or vino throughout the food service. That in my opinion was absolutely fine and more than acceptable. The staff at MLL Palma Bay should be commended on providing great service at a great price. The bus stop is only 100 metres from the hotel and provides a very regular service to Palma ( €2 per person ) from where you can take a coach, bus or train to visit places of interest throughout the island ( Alcudia was my favorite ). So, if you are looking for a value for money, good service hotel as a base to investigate the island or relax on the nearby beach you can't go much wrong with MLL Palma Bay.     It was ok but not great. We were in the disabled area where the rooms were very near to alot of footfall for the restaurant and a pool table, yes pool is played at 1 am. Also, the cleaners saw fit to talk loudly about, whatever nonsense there were discussing from 7 am onwards. It's NOT all-inclusive.     BEWARE….Elisa Palma Bay Mallorca

    Where to start……….make sure you take an iron as this MASSIVE hotel only has one travel iron for the whole hotel for over 200 rooms and staff don’t know the rates to hire ? Elisa the day time receptionist is absolutely one disgusting person very uninterested, unpleasant and unhelpful. Her attitude was disgraceful and was commented on by a few guests. If taking children then the food isn’t the best the variety is poor and is always cold hence microwaves at the end of food hall sums it up.Reported a broken door on the Wednesday and still waiting today ?? We’re back in the UK now and was reported to Elisa !!!The area isn’t quite pleasant is very locally residential and dark, women alone should take care.
