    Lovely hotel but please be aware of the evening dining arrangements

    The hotel is excellent in so many ways. It is modern and immaculately clean. The staff without exception are very friendly and extremely efficient. The food is of a high standard with plenty of choice but on arrival we were told there were two sittings for dinner either 6.15 or 8 pm neither of which suited us. Then we realised that each sitting was only for one hour fifteen minutes. When the doors opened and we had looked around and decided what to eat then perhaps queued we had approximately an hour to enjoy our meal. It all felt very rushed as we like to relax and take our time over each course. At 9.15 one of the staff would come around and ask very politely if we had had dessert as it was being cleared. The dining room was emptying then so we felt obliged to leave. Perhaps we are in minority as the hotel had many repeat bookings but unfortunately it spoiled it for us and for this reason and this reason alone we would not return. I’m writing this review as I feel people should be aware of the dining arrangements before booking.     we have just returned after a 28 night stay and what a great time we had.its been 3 years since we were last here and it is still as good as ever.the staff are amazing the restaurant victor for his amazing omelette and grill on a night the waiting staff ana ,juana, lupe, ramon ,christian executive chef food is great and plenty of selection.bar staff ayo,loriet,mario,fani,salva,yesica,diana,elena, and we would love to name everybody.this hotel is immaculate and in a brilliant location and very flat so if you have mobility issues its great.and finally the night time entertainment is very good especially tina turner and last of all jimmy keep up the good work so we can all come back and have another great time. david should be very proud of this hotel and all his staff well done Protur Hotels, Owner at Protur Playa Cala Millor Hotel, responded to this review Thank you very much for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback and for choosing to stay with us for such a long visit.     This was our second visit within six months the first visit was for 7 days but we enjoyed it so much that the second visit was for 10 days and it was another fantastic holiday, the staff are absolutely fantastic, the hotel is spotless and location brilliant, a big shout out to Jimmy the ents manager cant wait to go back and catch up with the team. from Brett and Julia.     Nice holiday for adults!!

    Lovely adult hotel located right on the beach promenade. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Beautiful and well-stocked buffet - both for breakfast and dinner. The only thing that was a drag was a very enthusiastic English guy from the staff who thought he should entertain the ENTIRE pool area via microphone + music with quizzes, water polo, advertising for the restaurant and other disturbing nonsense.But despite everything - a really nice holiday hotel.     Great first visit

    This was our first visit but went with friends who visited last year. The reviews are always good and we did wonder if they were all true - well yes they are!The transfer is about an hour but we had a taxi so arrived little earlier, but it was a late flight. Reception were helpful and quickly checked in, they had cold meats etc laid out for us which was also great.The room was clean, and we had a wonderful sea view and over the pool.The food was wonderful and plentiful and the only issue was deciding what to have. You sit where you want for breakfast and then have a designated table for eve meal all the time you are there.The location is good for walking to other places, and it’s flat which helps.I cannot praise the staff enough, always smiling, always helpful and as others have said they are a lot of the reason for returning people, these include LILO our housekeeper - was always smiling and singing and our room was always clean and tidy.Victor who did wonderful omelettes Xcisco, Alejandro, Sam and all the bar staff - never unhappyJimmy - entertainment manager - he works tirelessly and the acts booked are amazing.There are many more and they were all great.This is a hotel I will return to, sooner rather than later, a couple of hours away, warm weather, great staff, wonderful food and entertainment- what is there not to like.
