Dirty beds, hair everywhere and blood stains on the wall, when i got up from my bed in the morning my t-shirt was dirty because the sheets are poorly cleaned. When showering, afterwards the whole room is wet beacause the shower is positioned really bad, window isnt openable.

We had a horrible stay there was no air con and they didn’t even try to fix it after we said. We didn’t have any window or daylight and it was hot for the whole time and I didn’t get sleep it was horrible. The staff didn’t even try to fix the air con and just gave us a small fan.

Just come back from a stay here with 50 teens and it was perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful. The rooms were cleaned regularly and it was what one should expect for the price. Breakfast was also good for €3. The photos here are old, it has changed a lot since.

DON'T GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHARGED TWICE.

    rating24 Jul 2023

I stayed at the hostel in early July for two nights. I checked in late on the first night and payed my remaining balance by credit card. The next morning I went out but upon arrival back at the hostel, the door to the dorm did not open. I tried to speak to the reception who told me to just push the door harder. However, this did not work... I asked the reception to try and help me, but she did'nt have time. After an hour, she finally called the manager, Adrianna, who helped me out. She was very kind and helpful and even moved me to another room without any guests. I truly appreciated this service. The rooms were fine; clean, with a good aircon and big lockers. Upon check-out I was relatively happy with my stay. Despite issues (the door and an enraged, naked man in my first dorm) it was a fine stay. However, upon check-out I checked my bank statement. Here, I could see that the hostel had charged my card for the stay as well - meaning I had payed twice for my stay (psysically upon check-in and then again charged directly from my bank). I contacted them via email expecting it to be easily resolved. However, upon contacting them three times, I never heard back from them. I then contacted hostelworld, who got the hostel to reply to me asking for the bank statements (which I had already supplied earlier). I sent them once again and as of todays date, I still have not heard from them! If the hostel reads this, I urge you to contact me as soon as possible. Overall, I therefore would recommend the hostel but NOT the aftermath!

By far, not a stellar experience

    rating12 Jul 2023

Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures. Much of what is shown is either broken, of far worse quality, or simply doesn't exist anymore in this building. The lobby is not as homey as what is shown, and the bar doesn't exist anymore. The breakfast is cheap and below average even for a hostel. The beds are basic college dorm beds, not very comfortable. Towels and blankets must be paid for separate from your lodging. The bunk beds are crammed into their given spaces, with barely room to move around. The cubicles underneath are all you have for storing your things, so you would need to bring your own lock. The door to my room was left open throughout the day either by cleaning staff or the other tenants, and not having a lock I was rightly concerned for my personal belongings. The door itself was broken, not closing properly and with the frame broken or in some places absent. Do not come here in the heat of summer, because with a broken AC unit and the stench of five men (myself included) I could barely sleep. The bathroom is not well ventilated, it felt like a sauna even after a minute or two. There is no control over the temperature of the water in the shower, and it could change on a whim from moderately warm to frigidly cold. The sink itself was loose and could fall off the wall if you so much as lean on it. The kitchen is missing so much equipment and shelving units from the photos, it looks completely different. The refrigerators look like they are old and gross and falling apart. It makes me sad that the joyous communal experience of the early photos (c. 2016) has been replaced with an atmosphere of apathy and obligation, and the clear disrepair and cheapening of basic amenities. Seems like I fell prey to false advertising.
