    Our room had flesh biting bugs Eric W. (Management ) Has refused to call, return my call or refund my money, even after I checked out.My daughter and I wrote reviews but, apparently they have been removed.

    This hotel is so nice and the customer service is great.The rooms are brand new with stainless steel appliances. A full kitchen with dishes and pots and pans.its like a studio apartment. The price is great also.This is or new home away from home.

    This hotel is in need of a serious renovation. The staff wasn’t to friendly. The room cleanliness is not up on my standards. There was signs of the last guest in my room. I will not be staying there ever again.

    On 2/23/23 we traveled an hour and a half to the Metro Detroit area to be closer to the hospital for my husband’s surgery the following day. It was a big surgery, he is unable to drive due to the nature of his injuries, and we wanted to be closer due to the Michigan roads and our early arrival time the next morning. We got there only to be told our room was double booked. No apologies were offered even as my husband came in on crutches unable to bare weight. The desk clerk wasn’t even apologetic or tried working with us. He simply shrugged his shoulders and said “we are double booked”. I would never recommend them and have posted this on my personal social media pages as well as told friends, family, and the hospital staff the same thing. ESA GM, General Manager at Southfield Stay, responded to this review Dear tomandkarenk, We are sorry for the inconvenience you had during your arrival. We also apologize for the behavior of our associate and thank you for informing us of this incident. We are looking into this matter. We understand your disappointment, and your feedback is being reviewed with the team member to see what went wrong.     Don't expect to find good customer service here. My family member had a surgery at 5:30 AM in Southfield so we booked a hotel room here, and they proceeded to sell it to someone else without telling us, and we found out after driving two hours to get here. The man at the front desk was very unapologetic and could not even tell us sorry, and he offered no solutions and was overall very apathetic. Had to drive all the way back home. You might as well find a cheap motel rather than pay these prices for a room you won't even get.
