Location

This hotel is located in the centre of Ronda and offers a fabulous panoramic view over the town and the bull-fighting arena. Also extremely close by is the famous gorge with the Puente Nuevo stone bridge. There is a public transport stop 800 m away. Malaga's airport is around 90 km away.

Facility

2 suites, 3 single rooms and 49 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed or a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A shower, a bathtub and a bidet are included the bathrooms. A hairdryer and a telephone are available for daily use. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

    Stayed here recently. Great hotel in really good location. Really close to town centre, bridge and bullring and 5 minutes walk fromBus station. Room was good size and spotlessly clean. Nice fresh produce at breakfast. HotelReceptionist spoke good English and was very friendly. Would recommend. Good value for money.     Lovely stay in the centre of Ronda.

    This hotel is in the centre of Ronda, from there you can walk everywhere. We had a double room which was a good size room and a lovely bathroom. They were both spotless. The hotel has a private parking, which we used as there’s nowhere to park unless you’re a resident. The staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.     Good hotel near to the town.

    Very nice. Large clean room which was comfortable & suited our needs for a one night stay very well. A stone throw from the bull ring & easy to find. They have their own underground parking (payable extra) but it was full when we arrived. But could drop luggage off outside. However, it’s possible to park free on the street if you don’t mind a short walk just away from the main town centre. Otherwise other payable public parking available. Nicely located & everything easy walking distance. Including the famous bridge and the old town on the other side.

    Excellent hotel in historic town

    The hotel is very well located. It is almost opposite the oldest bullring in Spain, and a minute walk to the main shopping street. It is also only about a five-minute walk to the Puente Nuveo, which was actually new in 1793. With all that so close by it’s not surprising the road is busy and therefore the underground car park is very handy.The English speaking staff on reception are excellent, coming out to greet us when we pulled up on our motorbike and taking me into the car park to show me where to park.The hotel is in an older building, but we had a spacious, modern, well-equipped room in a new, attached, block. Uniquely amongst six hotels, in which we stayed on this trip, we also had tea and coffee making in the room.There was a good breakfast selection including a range of cold meats and cheese as well as hot dishes. There was no need to prebook this.Our only very minor issue was that the WiFi was very intermittent in our room, although it was fine in reception.

    An Excellent Hotel to Stay in Ronda

    If you want a great location to stay when visiting Ronda this is place to stay...There are many choices of Hotels in Ronda - we selected this hotel based on Reviews and location plus parking.Hotel Maestranza is centrally located in Ronda. Situated directly opposite the famous "Bullring of the Royal Cavalry of Ronda" it could not be more well located. Staff - Warm, friendly and welcomingOur Room was large, great in room facilities, and cleaned to a high standard each day.Parking is €15.00 per day - the hotel has its own car park. (to put this in context Public Car Parks are busy, not as secure and are not easy to find a space)The Hotel Parks your car - and keeps the keys at reception - if you want your car just tell them the room number and your car is bought to the entrance)Breakfast is €16.00 per person Rooms - we had room 223 - which was at rear of the hotel - Modern, noted the hotel had updated their rooms, Aircon, Mini fridge and very large Bathroom. Space was excellent.The hotel is in easy walking distance of all attractions in Ronda, Old Town, Central Plaza and Shops and Restaurant's.This provides a great base to visit both the Sea Coast and Seville Coast - Marbella, Estapona and Puerto Banús all just 1 hour but be prepared for the windy roadsSeville 1.5 hours by car - easy drive - park at Condequinto and take the Metro into Seville - €3.50 return - car parking was free - there is a large car park by the metro Station.Malaga Airport is 1.5 hours again easy drive.Would we stay again - Yes, Was this hotel value for money - Yes could anything be improved - no great service and great staff.Thank You Hotel Maestranaz we have enjoyed our stay with you.
