If you are desperate then it’s ok

It seemed very nice from outside but it was not very clean. The towels were humid. The kitchenette was not clean too. TV didn’t work, wifi was on and off. Luckily we had to sleep and leave. It was 80 euro per night for 4 people but it wasn’t worth.

    All the essentials covered

We arrived late at night, around 11pm and we were shown to our room in the white building around 100m away at the back / side of the hotel. The reception person didn’t speak much English but he’s good at pointing and his sign language is great. We were in one of the upstairs rooms which could be accessed by an outside staircase. For what we paid we were happy with the room. Although basic, the beds were comfy and the room was clean. Towels changed daily, bedding made each day too. The room had a TV, two single beds, 2 x night stands and a wardrobe. The bathroom was a walk in shower, no bath tub with mirror, hairdryer, toilet and sink. There was a towel rail which is heated should you use your towels for the pool.It was good to note that the hotel does have parking spaces, a mini golf course and a pool. If you’re in the main hotel the rooms look out into the pool. The gardens around the back of the hotel are quite pretty also. It’s good to note that the car parking is secure. The breakfast was maybe less than some people may expect. We had a warm bread roll, with butter or jam or butter and Jam together. A glass of juice and / or a coffee. The staff were friendly and attentive. As we used the hotel only as a base to see ronda (5/10 mins drive away by main road) so as the name says it’s just out from Ronda. It’s good to note that if you search for the hotel on maps (iPhone maps) then you’ll be directed to a different address. Use the address given when booking to get to the correct destination.

    Just ok

We had great difficulty finding this hotel, it is @4 km outside Ronda on the road signposted Campillos. We asked for a quiet room and got a chalet @100m from the hotel itself. There is a lovely swimming pool at the hotel.Breakfast was one cup of coffee, a glass of juice, and 2 slices of toast, you may be better having breakfast in the town.Other reviews have complained about WiFi too, we could only get it in reception. If you have kids with you this becomes an issue.I don’t think I would stay here again.

    Simple, tasty, good value

    rating15 Oct 2018

Enjoy the simple Venta's where daily menu's are inexpensive and tasty and fresh. you are likely to get also a good a al carte selection of dishes such as lamb-chops, entrecote, farm-style fried eggs, or in case of doubt go for a plato iberico with Jamon, Lomo and Chorizo to accompany your bread. Don't go without trying the tomatoes, best in a simple salad. Simple and good.

    Charming Old World Charm

    rating01 Aug 2018

All hotels were full and we had to stay a little outside Ronda but SO GLAD WE DID!! This hotel has basic clean bungalows on a campground that has a large pool and go car carting plus a typical Spanish Inn for eating. It's very easy access to Ronda about a 5 minute drive. It was so quiet and lovely and we had a nice time talking to the people who work there. I especially loved in the evening that outside our rooms 15 and 16 the neighbor's horse came to visit us by the fence (also in the daytime). It was such a charming experience that we are still talking about it. Note: On my Spanish GPS, it gave the wrong address. Please phone to doublecheck the km sign. It was easy to find once we understood.
