The hotel is located in the historical centre of Ronda, alongside the famous Tagus, next to the Puente Nuevo and the bullring. Ronda is located 118 km from Málaga, the capital of the province. San Pedro de Alcantara Beach is just 50 m away. Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airport is approximately 140 km from the hotel.

    Another nice Parador stay

    We’ve been to Ronda numerous times and only returned to stay at the Parador. The road through town is a restricted driving zone near the Parador and New Bridge. Rather than drive to the Parador’s main entrance we drove straight to its parking garage. Parking at this Parador was €20 a night. Check in was quick. If arriving by car, ensure you provide the vehicle’s registration information (license plate number) to reception to avoid receiving a ticket. With the exception of minor mildew in the bathroom shower, dust on the top of the TV and also where the floor meets the baseboards, the room was comfortable and clean and the Parador seemed well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt the breakfast staff did a very good job keeping the buffet well stocked as well as clearing tables for the next guests.     We booked a superior room and apart from the view, there wasn’t really anything superior about it. Contrary to the previous Parador in Cadiz, there was no robe or slippers in the room. The room and the hotel in general are in need of some TLC, especially the outiside of the building which has been covered with a net. The view of the new bridge and crater from the room is superb. We had breakfast and dinner included with the room. The breafast buffet is plentiful, the only small issue is the slowness of service (servers are runing around but would need more staff). Dinner was great and service was very pleasant and quick.     Five stars but for the lack of plugs at the desk

    For the most part, this is a wonderful hotel. Our room was large with a nice sized balcony and a sofa. The bathroom was large, with a shower/tub. Staff was helpful. Location is more than great.Why not five stars? No plugs at the desk. It's just amazing how many hotels do not provide plugs at the desk. Now there are plenty of plugs around the room, but the desk is the most important location. There were two low wall plugs nearby, but you had to unplug a coffee machine or lamp to use it. And then have the reach from there to your devices. I know how to manage multiple devices with a single plug, but hotels with inadequate plugs automatically get a one-star deduction.     Best hotel in best location

    We are here 3 nights in wonderful Parador de Ronda. Best location in this little city right beside the new bridge. We are in a superior room with a huge terrace looking over the gorge. The room has a marvellously comfortable bed and seating area as well as sun loungers on the terrace. Excellent breakfast.     The view is worth the price

    Breathtaking location, worth the splurge.i was able to get a last minute room, dont count on that, and I even got an upgrade to the best view possible. If you dont.get the.valley or gorge.bridge view, maybe not worth it. Fantastic breakfast included. Madonna stayed here in 1995 filming the Take A Bow video. Going.down into the parking garage is not easy. I would suggest asking the front desk to let you enter via the exit which is easy. Otherwise any car bigger than a sub compact will likely get damaged. The hotel facade is from the 1940s but the hotel was built in the 1990s. The view is everything here. There's a lobby piano anyone can play.. if you are good enough, per the sign.
