Location

This hotel is located in the heart of the Serranía de Ronda mountains in the Sierra de los Alcornocales nature reserve which belongs to the muncipality of Cortes de la Frontera. It is set in one of the most important game reserves in Spain. 15 minutes' drive away, Ronda is the capital of the region and very close to the white villages of the Cadiz province. In Cortes de la Frontera, the centre of which is only 500 m from the hotel) guests will find restaurants, bars, links to the public transport network and nightspots. Malaga Airport is 150 km away.

Facility

Guests can enjoy the pleasant ambience of one of the 5 single rooms and 21 double rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. What truly sets this hotel apart isn’t just the beautiful setting or the consistently high standards—it’s the exceptional people who make every stay feel personal and memorable.Karen made my most recent check-in experience completely flawless. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, setting the tone for yet another fantastic stay.     Stayed in March as I was attending a conference. Amazing room overlooking the cricket pitch, a huge cricket pitch at that! Great restaurant at breakfast!     “Great Hotel, Spa Confusion & a Front of House That Needs Work – Hilton Southampton”

    Booked this hotel because it clearly lists a spa in the amenities.Checked in, went to the front desk, and was told:“That’s an additional cost, sir – no way around it.”Didn’t like the attitude, so I asked for the manager. Front of house manager, Adam, comes over… somehow even worse. Smug and pompous:“I can only reiterate what my colleague said.”My issue is simple — if the spa is listed as an amenity, it should be clear if there’s an extra charge. The same way parking is clearly explained. Not hidden all the way at the bottom under “spa policies.”Surely I’m not the only one that’s been blindsided by this?I even said I’m willing to pay — that’s literally why I booked the hotel, to use the spa with my wife. Adam’s response:“Not sure about availability, maybe we can do a deal… can’t promise anything.”I didn’t ask for promises.Went directly to the Eforea Spa instead — completely different experience. Professional, understanding, and they even said this happens all the time. Guests assume the spa is included. They’ve raised it with Hilton before… nothing changed.The Stay Itself:• Spa facilities: actually very good• Bed: big and comfy• Breakfast: amazing, loads of variety• Late checkout (12pm): helpfulBut…• Shower floor had a massive crack covered with grey duct tape• No fridge in the room• Overall felt a bit basic for a HiltonDespite everything, I still had a good stay. But front of house? Needs serious work.There was a lady at the Eforea Spa who was brilliant — I wish I’d caught her name. She should be training the front of house team on manners and customer service.     Perfectly decent for an overnight stay - the pitch view rooms are nice and have everything in them you would need. Parking is a nightmare and you are lucky to get in the main car park.
