    Great spot

    rating12 Sept 2023

We stayed for a week and thought the location was brilliant, only 5 minute walk to Santandria’s beach (which was a great snorkelling spot) and had 5 restaurants you could eat at. A small supermarket and bus stop was directly in front of the apartments also. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need and the fridge was super cold but we didn’t mind as it was so hot! The apartment itself was very clean and got cleaned 3 or 4 times during our week visit. We stayed in D13 and it was very quiet during the night and the morning. The only thing I would note is that this does not have air conditioning, it was fine most nights however a couple of nights when it was very humid it was difficult to get the bedroom cool (we knew this was the case when we booked so not a complaint, just an FYI) Some parking in front of reception, however we parked on the road most of the time as it was in the shade, never had to walk more than 1 minute - plenty of spaces. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend!

    Brilliant for the budget

    rating11 Jun 2022

We travelled to menora for 3 nights away without the kids, we were so pleased with the accommodation was clean and tidy all you need 3mins walk from the beach supermarket over the road, 10 mins to cala blanco. Would definitely return nothing bad to say at all.

Do not come if you're English

    rating23 Sept 2019

Absolutely no English food at breakfast and too far out for walking unless you're fit and able to walk a mile! There is a good supermarket over the road, good bus service to Ciutadella. Pool area is lovely surrounding area is very quiet. Apartments small with little cooking facilities. Beds like bricks.

    Clean Accommodation, Best for Self-Catering

    rating13 Sept 2019

The accommodation is in a quiet, classy, suburban area opposite a useful mini-market and a five-minute walk to the lovely Cala Santandria, where there are a couple of restaurants. You can walk for 15-20 minutes to Cala Blanca where there is a parade of about 10 bars/restaurants and also more shops. It’s about 45 minutes’ walk into the major town of Ciutadella, where you can find a much wider choice of shops and eateries. There is also a bus into town but we did not use it as we had a scooter hired from Rideon in Ciutadella, booked online beforehand. (Tip - Hiring a scooter means you are allowed through to the beach car parks even when cars are turned back because they are full.)We stayed in apartment 11, on the upper of two floors in Bloque C. There are four blocks, arranged in pretty gardens around the large, central pool and bar area, all comprising two floors, with apartments on the ground floor or upper floor via steps shared by two apartments. One block, housing the reception and bar, backs onto the road, but it is not a major road at all. The opposite block backs onto fields. Our block, Block C off to one side, backed onto a crazy golf course belonging to the complex, and the dining room housed in a separate building, where breakfast was served. The grounds were clean and well-maintained although after a storm, leaves were in the pool for a couple of days. Wi-Fi is available in reception, apparently, but we always use mobile these days and the signal for that was good. Our balcony was visible to the other one in the pair leading from the same access staircase, but this was not a problem to us because our “partners” were quiet and unobtrusive. You could be less lucky. The balcony had a couple of plastic chairs, a plastic table and two clothes airers: an extendable one attached to the wall, and a stand-alone one which was bigger – probably an afterthought to give more drying space. Off the balcony were double French doors with secure metal shutters in front. These led into the living area with a sofa bed, a wooden table and four chairs, a sideboard and a kitchenette. I used the sideboard for some of my clothes. The fridge was old, but worked well. There were two solid rings to cook on – we never used them. A kettle and toaster were useful and at no extra charge. A hallway contained the only wardrobe which had about 10 good hangers and shelving, and also contained the safe (large enough for a laptop and all our other goodies, small extra charge). Off this area was the bedroom and shower room. The bedroom had two twin beds. We had a slight issue with rubberised mattress protectors which left us really damp with, let’s call it condensation, some nights. A ceiling fan helped matters and we got into the habit of leaving it on overnight on the warmer nights. The bathroom had a double-sized shower with curtain that fitted nicely behind the lip, so no water leakage. Small tubes of various toiletries were provided, plus small bars of soap. There was nowhere to leave your soap and shampoo apart from the windowsill between the inner glazed window and outer wooden shutter. With the shutter open, one false move would have sent toiletries onto the crazy golf course below, so care was needed! The hot water was good except at peak times, when it dried up sometimes. This only lasted a few short minutes, but could leave you either soap-covered and waiting, or rinsed in cold water. Another small niggle was the smell that built up from the shower drain overnight. It really was bad on the hottest nights – I even awoke unable to sleep from it – but when we eventually worked out where it was coming from, a make-shift cover made from a plastic bag filled with water stopped the overnight smell completely. You could hear water trickling under the shower drain when the toilet was flushed, so it was almost as if there was no water trap under the shower, allowing the air back up from the sewers – I’m only guessing. The standard of housekeeping was excellent here. Almost to our embarrassment, towels were changed daily or very close to daily. Sheets were changed about weekly, but what really impressed was how clean everywhere was kept – really immaculate – and with a smile too.We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis, but I confess that we only tried the buffet breakfast on the first morning and did not go back. Room-only guests can buy breakfast for six euros, and to be honest, we would not have gone for it at that price. The dining room was fine – a modern block, light and airy. The food and drink was economy grade, every aspect. The coffee from the machine had sweetened milk, or black coffee was bitter and unpleasant. The orange juice was the colour of apple juice, and was low quality. Bread was low quality, as was the selection of processed meat and cheese. Muesli and cereals were OK. Pastries were on offer, and were also OK but nothing special. Fresh fruit was on offer, but only if you were quick off the mark as people stockpiled it and it was not replenished when we were there. Cold boiled eggs were blue around the yolk and seemed to have been boiled ages ago and/or for a long time. There was no hot food on offer. Even though we had paid for breakfasts for our 13-day stay, we did not go back, preferring to buy quality jamon iberico, artisan bread, Canarian tomatoes and Menorcan cheese for private breakfasts on the balcony opposite the treetops.Niggles aside, we really enjoyed our stay at the Apartamentos Club Andria, and only one point deducted as the niggles did not spoil it for us. We would not hesitate to recommend it and would come again – room only next time, as you still get the kitchenette to cater for yourself.

    Menorca Holiday

    rating07 Sept 2019

We booked Club Andria only 2 weeks before travelling. Wasn't quite sure what to expect as we have usually stayed in villas on previous visits to Menorca.I was really pleased with the entire complex, the appartment was spotlessly clean and spacious as we were allocated a 2 bedroom appartment because we asked for a balcony rather than a ground floor room. Maid service came in every day and we had clean towels daily. Breakfast was also included in the price and was typical continental breakfast, which was sufficient for what we wanted. The staff on reception were polite and friendly and helped out whenever we had a query. The pool area again was spotlessly clean and the pool was was more than big enough to cope with the number of guests.A 5 minute walk to Cala Santandria beach and a 15 minute walk through Cala Blanca to Cala Blanca beach. If you are looking for a relaxing break on a budget then I would definitely recommend Club Andria .... in fact I would stay there again if we needed a holiday with no hassle!
