  Have spent the best two weeks having fun with friends in a lovely hotel

  Been to the hotel before but this time everything was superb, no complaints at all.Room spotless, cleaned daily, had a fridge and a kettle, took our own T bags, had milk from the dining room and bar. We were fully inclusive so had no problem choosing our food, so much choice from the dining room or outside from the pool bar. the wine/cava/beer and water on tap in the dining room so we helped ourselves The bar supplied all the good brands of spirits for the evening entertainment, which was certainly different every evening the best being Joe Mina who had everyone up singing and dancing to 60s, 70s, 80s music. Ray worked very hard as did all the bar staff and entertainment crew, they work well together. Mandy and her staff at reception were most helpful in every way - Eduardo sorted our the TV so the boys could watch the footie thankfully! Plenty of varied outdoor facilities and lovely walks to a rocky sea area. Can't wait to return in the autumn!Pauline and Norman

  Enjoyed my stay here, after reading some reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel outside wasn't the nicest looking, but inside was cleaned, modern looking the staff were welcoming and helpful. I had a sea view room which was clean, with a kettle and tea/coffee and a complimentary bottle of water. The view was lovely, balcony a little small. Overall nice room. I did notice the walls were thin and heard the man snoring and loud talking one night. Food options were plentiful at both breakfast and dinner, I was pleasantly suprised after reading some other reviews. I like the location personally but a small quiet place, good for walks. I used the bus which was near to the hotel, though it is infrequent overall would recommmed if staying in that area.   We have just returned from our first visit to this hotel. Check in was easy and quick, the room ready at 1230. We were allocated room 231, very convenient for the lifts but unfortunately next to the cleaning staffs store room which we found out meant a 7am wake up every day. The room was clean, bright and comfortable, a complementary bottle of water left. The room overlooked the car park to the left, but we could also see the sea to the right. However we aren’t bothered about views so we’re pleasantly surprised. Food is adequate, not a great deal of choice I assume as it was early in the season and low capacity , pork every day with some chicken and fish, pasta, lovely fresh salad, soup and desserts. Sparkling wine, wine, beer , soft drinks and water available for AI. The snack bar opens 3-6 in the pool bar, again lovely and fresh, sadly some people were not great with their hygiene habits. Bar service a bit slow as only one person on, but the AI included brands. Cocktails not great but drinkable. All the staff are lovely, friendly and approachable, without being intrusive; the entertainment staff work very hard indeed. There was entertainment on every night, to be fair even the karaoke was decent. Our only problem was our own fault for not looking at the map, S’Algar is very quiet, one beach bar and a couple of restaurants, no walks to speak of as the roads aren’t that safe or accessible for foot traffic. The hotel provides a free bus to Punta Prima and you can get to Mahon by paying €4 each way per person, cheaper than a taxiCustomers when we were there were heavily weighted to the French, although we met some lovely people there was very little mixing of the nationalities.   Lovely stay at this hotel Staff all very friendly rooms are done really well cleaned daily & hotel is very clean Drinks & cocktails are good The only thing the food could have is more choices ie always pork or fish on the grill with occasional chicken.
