Location

Situated in a quiet area, this apartment complex is ideal for parents with children. It is located approximately 10 km from the centre of S'Algar.

Facility

The property includes 16 bungalows as well as 56 apartments. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the apartment complex provides various services and facilities, including a currency exchange service, a car hire service, medical assistance and a laundry service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden.     Incredible staff, relaxed stay

    Stayed here from 17/5 to 24/5 and had such a lovely time. There were 7 adults and one toddler in our party and, despite being a larger group, we had such a great time and it really is the staff who are the beating heart of this place. We were given a travel cot (had pre-requested via email but had to re-ask at reception when we arrived - this was no trouble though and they brought it straightaway!) which had a pillow and duvet and my little girl slept so well every night. An extra special mention for Richi who is mentioned in pretty much all the reviews on here. He is such an amazing entertainer, the right level of encouraging and is so good at picking up on how much people want entertaining! All of the bar staff and the buffet staff were fantastic, so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A really lovely warm welcome from reception too every time you walked past. The pool area is lovely and we never struggled to get sunbeds especially considering we were a larger group. Our first stay in Menorca and we loved it. S’Algar is super chilled, and I think that’s reflective of Menorca as an island - it really is the ideal place to get away from it all.

    This is a quiet resort with no beach directly near although you can get a free bus from the hotel to a sandy beach booked in advance at reception. There are two pools open 10-6 a smaller kids splash pool and a large pool that starts at 1m deep up to 1.6m. There is also a splash park at the side of the big pool. Despite going in half term there was never an issue getting a sun lounger any time of day. Note inflatables can only be used in the small pool. The buffet restaurant provides a good mix of multicultural options with a reliable source of kid friendly food every day. Drinks can be expensive however there is a shop about 1km away and each apartment has a small kitchenette including a fridge. Hotel entertainment was great, we had Ritchi the whole week and the kids loved him, every morning he would come round and discuss plans for the day and encourage everyone to get involved in a mixture of games, aqua aerobics, dancing etc. Our daughter is very shy but over the first few days felt confident to get stuck in with Ritchi who didn't push her and allowed her to be involved at her own pace. We have found this the perfect quiet little island getaway for our family for a week. If you like loud, bustling resorts with a constant onslaught of activities and an array of British cafés available then this is not the resort for you. This is a quiet, multicultural, family friendly, inclusive resort with a good selection of activities broken up through the day, gentle evening entertainment and sunshine to boot.

    Amazing holiday

    We are just finishing a week at this hotel. This is our second visit and we will be back for a third year next year. Ritchie the entertainer was amazing with our daughter and all the other children and adults there. So much better than the entertainer last year. The hotel food was amazing so much choice every day. No fighting for beds in the morning. Short walk down to the local supermarket who drop you back if needed. Reception staff extremely helpful.

    Coming to this place was the best decision. It's a quiet, peaceful location with beautiful views. The atmosphere is very friendly, and the staff is polite and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped. It's the perfect place to rest and relax. You can spend your free time by the large, clean pool, where Mr. Richi will take care of all the fun. The water activities he leads are a great opportunity to be active, but not forgetting to have a good time. That's why I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

    We just returned from a lovely 10-day family stay at AluaSun Mediterráneo and cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, relaxing atmosphere made us forget all the stress of daily life.The views from the property are absolutely beautiful and served as the perfect backdrop for our vacation. We spent most of our days by the great pool. As a parent, I felt completely safe with the kids in the water thanks to the great lifeguard, Nacho, who was incredibly attentive, professional and friendly.The dining experience was equally impressive. We received great service in the restaurant from Marlon, who was attentive, efficient, and always greeted us with a smile.The activities were another massive highlight. We enjoyed superb entertainment from Richie, who kept everyone energized and smiling throughout the entire trip.What truly sets this place apart is the fantastic staff like Nacho, Richie, and Marlon. Every team member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. If you are looking for a peaceful, fun, and secure family vacation, this is the perfect choice. We are already planning our return!
