Great Apartments with an amazing location.

    rating24 Apr 2025

100% giving this 5 stars, and 100% coming back. 4 days into a weeks stay, and absolutely delighted with the apartment & location. But, full disclosure, we are self-catering and haven't used the bar or restaurant. So, can't include them in my thoughts. We arrived on Tuesday. 2 bed apartment for a family of 5. Very clean & well kitted out for our needs. Only thing I would've liked would be plastic cups & plates as we had young children with us, so this would've been nice to have. Although I did get a couple of plastic beakers for free from the bar. Great room with a large living area, and we were very fortunate to have a large balcony overlooking the pool. Fantastic view overlooking the sea too! Loads of towels, more than enough for our needs, and plenty of bedding too, all lovely & clean. Towels were also very soft, which was nice. Bedrooms were a good size with a king size bed, two singles and a sofa bed for our eldest. Plenty of space for a weeks clothes and kit for a family of 5, and a digital safe that was simple to reprogramme with our own pin number to keep the valuables safe. No iron in the room, but one available at reception if required. I have seen reviews stating that there is no WiFi in the rooms, but we all had decent connections in our room and out by the pool. We did have an issue with the kettle tripping the electric, but it was immediately replaced. The location is amazing too. Literally less then 50' from the sea. There is a footpath you can access to wander along the cliffs if you like that kind of thing. We do, so we did. 5 minute walk to half a dozen decent restaurants, and a shop less than a minute away. Tbh, I didn't find it particularly expensive considering the location and lack of competition in the local area. Had plenty of stock, and all the things you'd expect from a seaside shop catering for families. We had rented a car from Autos Menorca, so we did a food shop at the Lidl in Ciutadella, which was only a 15 minute drive. Lots of reviews have said the the Apartments are on a steep hill away from the beach. I would contest this. Although one of the routes takes you up/down a steep hill, you are only walking up/down it for around 100yds. So, unless you have mobility issues, then this won't be a problem. I had a 5 year old with me and it was no more than a 10 minute stroll to the nearest beach. But, be aware that the beach has no facilities whatsoever, so you need to take anything you might want with you. That said, it's a lovely little beach with a slow gradient making it ideal for young children. There was also a beachside bar that appeared to be in the process of refurbishment when we were there in Apri 25. I'd imagine it would be open in time for the summer. Just a word of caution. I saw some youngsters cliff diving into the cove, so thought I'd go there for a morning swim, having grown up around The Gower Peninsula and being a confident swimmer that used to go Tombstoning around the Mumbles in my youth, although I'm now 56. My mistake was that I went into the water alone, and not being a local was not familiar with the currents of the cove. I managed to scramble out of the water with just some cuts & bruises from the rocks. But, it was sketchy for a while. I would strongly advise against anyone who isn't a local repeating my move unless they are a very strong swimmer, and have other strong swimmers with them. I'll stick to the local beach for the rest of the week. Its been a fantastic week so far, and as previously mentioned we will 100% be returning. Adios.

Fabulous location over looking the sea. Far exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotlessly clean and although the rooms do not have air conditioning they have ceiling fans that adequately keep the rooms cool. Super friendly stay especially in the restaurant . I normally stay in 4 and 5 star hotels but would not hesitate to stay here again.

On day two we were confronted with live cockroaches killed and deposed of day three two more in the kitchen cupboards crawling around went to main reception they offered us two options to move to another apartment or for them to clean and spray entire apartment we chose this option as it was an adapted room as I’m disabled and we were offered another adapted room all was ok for a day and then they came back we were constantly on guard. Other problems. No disabled parking onsite so street parking only if you can find one it’s a one way system so you may find yourself going back around until you get a space. The room didn’t have a kettle so had to use a saucepan to boil water room are basic no air conditioning but two big ceiling fans one in lounge one in bedroom. Aldo the pool wax covered in dead bugs and insects we reported when returned to uk but blancala saying this is not true so beware

    Lovely apartments

    rating26 Sept 2022

We arrived late at night and were warmly greeted and shown how to access the room key. Our room overlooked the sea and swimming pool on the 2nd floor. Smaller than I expected but completely adequate with absolutely everything you need. We went down to have our first drink of the holiday and felt quite unwelcome - this did put us off using the bar for the rest of our holiday. The room could have benefitted from air con as it was hot and unusually humid but we only used it as a base so spent time sat out on the balcony or under the ceiling fan. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows nice and soft. We tried once to get an evening meal from the restaurant but were told they were closed as they had a big group in so we never tried again. The reception staff were wonderful and very helpful. The pool area was spotless and enough sunbeds for all. We were glad to be on the quieter block away from the noise of the restaurant and the busier pool. There is a very reasonably priced small supermarket a very short walk away where we bought croissants, French sticks etc each morning. The staff there were so lovely - nothing was too much. The bus stop is also a short walk - we walked into Ciutadela one evening and got the bus there and on to a lovely beach another day. The bus fares are so reasonable that we didn't bother hiring a car as we normally do. There were some lovely walks across the bridleway to tiny hidden coves if you want to find them. The cove to the right of the apartments is amazing for snorkeling and safe but can get a bit choppy if the wind picks up. We would stay here again as it ticked all the boxes we wanted but it would have been nice to feel comfortable sitting in the bar - the first night unfortunately put us off using it on a regular basis.

Stunning sea and pool views from our balcony so peaceful listening to the waves hitting the rocks ,apartment very spacious with microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle , big bedroom with a large queen size bed, very comfortable, never heard any noise from the other apartment's, very clean pool area with plenty of sunbeds and seating areas, big restaurant although we only used for coffee's and croissants in the morning, lovely friendly staff, bus stop couple minute's walk up the road and a shop next door but one .Only negative thing I would say is that our bed wasn't changed once in the week we were there and clean towels were only given on our 2nd day there. but we would definitely stay again
