    Nice hotel in a great location. Our room was great and quite spacious. We had a front facing room with good views over Mahon harbour and as a plus we were one of the first to get the morning sun in all of spain 😁The staff were nice, helpful but a little formal for me, but I can't complain.The food although there was nothing wrong, it just didn't seem like four star to me.Es Castell is a great little town, with good dining to be had in Cala Fonts and for tapas you must try Bar Camacho, fantastic. It's also a good base for exploring the east of the island. Would I go again, maybe.

    Everything was very good indeed. Staff were most friendly and helpful. We liked the eco-friendly direction of the hotel culture. The refillable water bottles, the emphasis on lack of waste.Food was good and plentiful. Adults only policy made for a quiet and relaxed stay. Facilities were clean and well maintained.     We have been coming to the Artiem Carlos for Many years and have always had a had a wonderful time , we know all the staff very well and they always make or stay special ,, but we feel the price has now passed our budget for what the hotel offers , the buffet if you are half board is poor for and price is small and very continental , We will sadly have to rethink and find another hotel for September and next years holidays to Es Castell Hotel Manager, Owner at ARTIEM Carlos, responded to this review Dear Leslie,Thank you very much for your feedback.We're delighted our team continues to make your visits memorable through their attentive service.     Our welcome on arriving at the hotel was warm, friendly and professional. We knew we were in safe hands. All staff went out of their way to make our week's stay everything we could have hoped for. The restaurant staff were delightful and very efficient. Too difficult to name them all as I wouldn't want to forget one but Esti did stand out with her bright, genuine smile, cheerful disposition and energy.
