    A great 4* hotel in Mahon.Excellent position for central shopping and set away from the busy areas.Great views over the port areaEnglish spoken so no language barriers Comfortable and modern Festive vibe in foyer areaEasily accessible from the airport, quick and inexpensive taxi ride. Points for consideration:Some clarity on availability of room service over the festive season would have been appreciated. More English channels on TV would have been appreciated.

    Lovely hotel, a little way out of town (about 20 mins walk) and up hill on the way back. Amazing views across the harbour from the restaurant. Had a room with terrace and loungers. Comfy bed, very clean, room serviced daily. Couple of issues with restaurant - I was initially told on my first visit that it was closed, it wasn’t and I was then given a table. Food good. On my second visit I was told it was fully booked - or I could take a table inside (there was no one at the tables outside). I was about to leave and try elsewhere when the restaurant manager came over to tell me that there was a table outside with a view which I could have. Puzzling. Not many places to eat nearby if you don’t want to walk farPool area v nice, plenty of loungers and umbrellas and snack bar for drinks and nibbles. Spa - highly recommend. Booked a massage for my last evening and was brilliant.

    This is a beautifully decorated hotel .There was a lot of choice for breakfast and the dining room over looks the harbour and museum but also overlooks the cement factory, no pictures of that on the website,there is also an outdoor terrace if the weather is good. The staff were attentive.There are no bars or restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel,to get to the port there are quite a few steps so not great if you have mobility issues. The walk into Mahon took us about 10 minutes, the bus station was within easy walking distance too.There is a carpark if needed,it is 22 euros per day, it is difficult to find anywhere to park on the street. There is also a spa and that is 25 euro per person, not sure how long that is for.There is no outdoor pool service, well not in October.There is only one bottle of water provided per stay and you can't drink the tap water although water was available at reception.Our teabags were not replenished and we were not provided with milk, when we asked about this we were told there was an issue with the milk provider and we could get milk from the dining room, why were we not told this at check in.Pool towels are provided but again we had to ask for them.Choose your room carefully, we booked a ground floor garden terrace room overlooking the harbour but when you sat on the chair all you could see was a hedge. We asked if we could change our room and were given three options. One didn't have any outside space and cost another 10 euro per night, the next was an extra 20 euro per night, our preferred choice had a balcony overlooking the pool at no extra charge but I don't think it had been refurbished, the tiles had been painted over, the tap was rusty and the plug wasn't attached to the chain, there was a bidet but no towels and the toilet paper was of poor quality.Some rooms overlook the street, some appeared to be below ground level with bars at the window and some, although overlooking the garden also overlook the carpark wall.The cost of drinks in the bar were expensive.Saying all of that we did enjoy our stay and I don't think it would take much to sort out some of the issues.

    Wonderful Hotel. Spacious with impressive facilities. Good relaxation areas. The restaurant overlooks the harbour and is a fantastic spot for capturing sunset/sunrise photos. There is a kettle in room with varied selection of teas.
