Location

This hill side apartment complex is situated about 250 m from the beach and the town centre with its wide range of shopping facilities as well as public transport links. The nearest airport is around 31 km from the hotel and Mahón is around 35km.

Facility

The complex has 160 rooms and 79 apartments, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by 2 lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and central heating ensure comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The complex offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including tennis, volleyball, basketball, golf, fishing and horse riding. With paddle boating, canoeing, sailing, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. The apartment complex offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton and squash or, for a fee, billiards. The wellness offerings at the complex include massage treatments and a solarium. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. Catering options include half board and all-inclusive. A delicious and varied buffet is prepared for breakfast every day, and a set menu can be ordered at dinner. Staff are also happy to provide gluten-free meals.

    Our room was spacious and clean. The staff were most helpful and friendly, both at Reception and in the restaurant, where the food was of a high standard. The views from the hotel are nothing short of spectacular. Our stay was amazing. We stayed on two separate occasions and we will return as soon as possible.     Comitas florimar, menorca. We had a superior room and it was lovely, really spacious, the beds and pillows were comfy, I only had toast and cereal for breakfast as I'm not a lover of buffet food as i find it's usually not very hot. The pool area is great with stunning view of the sea,the staff were really friendly. When we went it was before the season started so not everything was open, but as we were leaving other eateries were being done up to open on 1st May, we enjoyed the peacefulness of it and I can imagine it getting very busy after we left.     We stayed 3 nights in a studio apartment after walking the cami trail. The apartment was clean and spacious and beds extremely comfortable. We upgraded to half board and glad we did as food is excellent. What makes this hotel stand out are the staff. So friendly and welcoming. Reception staff are a credit to hotel along with excellent hardworking catering staff. I will definitely be back.     Self catering apartment at Hotel Floramar

    We had a fantastic experience at the Floramar. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and clean, and the pool area is fantastic, with stunning views over the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Michelle on reception, and the restaurant manager. We were self catering, but did eat at the restaurant a couple of times, and the food was fresh and tasty. Our apartment had everything we needed, and it was well worth the upgrade to a balcony with a pool and see view.- the view was breathtaking.The only slight drawback was that our room was directly above the restaurant, so when breakfast and dinner were served the noise of chairs scraping on the floor was a little irritating. This could be avoided by pads on the bottom of the chair legs. The hotel is in a great location, with a couple of stunning bays within walking distance (may be difficult with young children/if mobility is an issue.) The hotel is located on a hill, but it's a fairly short walk to the beach/restaurants and shops. I would recommend this lovely hotel, and we would definitely return.
