Location

This apartment complex is quietly located in the tourist centre of Playa de Fornells. It lies in an idyllic biosphere reserve and is a mere 500 m from the nearest beautiful sandy beach. The nearest bus stop is 300 m away.

Facility

25 apartments and 25 studios are available to guests. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services and facilities include a baggage storage service, a safe, a newspaper stand, medical assistance, room service and a hairdresser. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with central heating and a fan. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a double bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. A fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, stovetop, microwave and tea/coffee station, as well as a complete set of utensils, is a standard feature. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. With snorkelling or, for a fee, windsurfing, motorboat rides, paddle boating, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. A spa, a sauna and hydrotherapy treatments are available in the wellness area.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Breakfast and lunch are served every day.

    We have stayed in Playa de Fornells several times but this was our first stay at El Bergantin and it will definitely not be our last. The studio apartment we had was finished and equipped to a very high standard, the coffee maker a welcome addition! We were welcomed by the owner who was very helpful. The views from this property are truly spectacular! El Bergantin represents great value for money and we look forward to our next visit.

    We spent 4 days here in September and really liked it. The apartment was finished to a very high standard. It was a big room with plenty of storage and all looked new. The Kitchen had the latest appliances and the bathroom was nicely finished off.We had a balcony and a view of the pool and ocean which was nice. The pool area was clean and tidy. Its worth pointing out that the hot water in the shower has quite a small tank, so if someone has a lot of hair to wash the next person gets very little hot water! There is no oven in the kitchen just a hob, which was fine for us.Our bed was the hardest bed we have ever slept on so the first night was not a good nights sleep, but reception quickly fitted a nice mattress topper for the rest of our stay and that was perfect.We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment and the area, and will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

    Extraordinary hidden spot in beautiful Menorca

    We just returned home from a 10 days stay at ‘el Bergantin Menorca club’ and we can’t wait to go back. The apartments are in an exceptional location that has all necessary amenities but is less crowded than other areas of the island. The outstanding view from the apartment made our breakfasts a beautiful way to start every day. Thereafter, our daughters enjoyed the pool, the beach, the sunk boat that can be snorkelled within meters of the shore, playing on the grass patch in front of the apartment… and many other activities. The restaurant serves very good food for adults and children alike; and there is additional restaurants nearby to bring some variety into the evenings… but most of all, the friendly service extended by everyone at ‘el Bergantin’ really made us feel at home away from home.     Another fabulous stay in this little corner of paradise

    Friendly family welcome, fabulous service & delightful bar/restaurant. Love this place! All beautifully renovated and maintained such an amazing home from home. Pool is fabulous and never crowded with ample loungers & umbrellas. The views are just incredible. If you need to wind down & relax this is the place for you!

    Very quiet place, with an amazing view from apartment D6. Very complete apartment, being able to cook simple dishes, and with a lot of space. Loved the swimming pool, and the fact that you can park easily.
