Location

These apartments are perfectly situated in the centre of the Cala Galdana resort and are surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. The city centre of Ferrerias is around a 10-minute drive from the establishment, and the lovely golden, sandy beach is right in front of the complex, only 200 m away. In just a 20-minute walk guests can reach two of the island's most beautiful virgin beaches; Cala Mitjana and Cala Macarella. The closest city is Ciutadella de Menorca, Minorca's old capital, which is located about 30 km away. Menorca - Mahón Airport can be found some 35 km away.

Facility

The apartment complex has 50 apartments. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe, a laundry service, a conference room and a smoke alarm are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living room and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. All kitchenettes come with a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) ensure optimal comfort. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has 50 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. Leisure options at the complex include cycling/mountain biking, tennis, a gym, a sauna and hiking. For a fee, guests can also enjoy golf and diving.

    Second visit to Galdana Gardens this May and, just like last time, it has been absolutely fantastic. The apartments and grounds are always spotless and very well maintained, and it really has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The BBQ area was a great addition and we made good use of it twice during our holiday.What really makes this place special is the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff are absolutely lovely — they work meticulously and keep everything to such a high standard.One thing that stood out to me was how many returning guests there were. Everyone we spoke to had stayed here more than once, and one couple told us this was their 40th visit, which says everything about how good Galdana Gardens really is.We would happily return again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming and well-run place to stay.

    A great few days in the sun

    We went for my daughters 40th birthday with friends and family. Galdana Gardens itself could probably do with a little overhaul and being brought upto 2025 but that said it is lovely. The pool was amazing. The children swimming in it were there till 10.30 at night. The location was perfect. Beach over the road, plenty of bars and restaurants and just lots to do and see. I highly recommend this place event without the overhaul.

    Apartment was basic but had everything we needed. Bathroom stunk awful but I think that was the drains rather than the bathroom itself. The pool and the grounds were excellent and location very good

    Great apartments located in a small, Spanish resort.

    We stayed as a family for 8 nights this August. Booked via easyJet holidays. Great apartments, basic but very clean and a small kitchen area which was pretty well equipped (but no wine glasses!, these would have been a welcome addition but a very minor issue). Pool towels provided. The apartment was cleaned twice during our stay and clean linen and towels provided. We stayed in apartment 3, balcony overlooking road and river. We were also on top of the restaurant below but it was not at all noisy or smelly! View from balcony was lovely and we were able to sit out relaxing with a drink and snack! The awning on the balcony was adjustable, which was welcome as it caught the sun all day long and provided some much needed shade! Pool area was lovely - clean and the best thing was that there were very few sun bed hoggers, which meant even later in the morning and afternoon we could easily find a bed. Location is perfect - beach a very short walk and beautiful. Supermarkets close by as wella selection of restaurants. We loved the delite pizzeria located up the hill opposite a supermarket. Delicious food, good value and lovely setting. The restaurant directly underneath the apartments overlooking the river was also nice and we enjoyed paella there watching the boats come in! Cala Galdana is a small, Spanish resort. We loved the relaxed feel of it and loved that we were amongst other nationalities. It certainly did not have the ‘brits abroad’ feel, which in our view made it a fantastic location. If you want English bars, English breakfast and amenities on tap at your hotel don’t stay here!! If you want a relaxed holiday soaking up the Spanish vibe, this is the place for you. Menorca is a beautiful, unspoilt holiday destination. We would not hesitate to return to Galdana Gardens and Cala Galdana in the future.
