  We visited as 3 adults over the bank holiday weekend in a 2 bed apartment. This was large and light and spotlessly clean . Kitchen was well equipped oven was spotless and we had a large fridge freezer, also a kettle, toaster and microwave. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and beds super comfy the mattresses looked new. Lounge had bi fold doors leading to a patio and we could see the sea. One bedroom had French doors onto the patio. The bathroom was spotless too it had a bath and a separate shower. We also had a washing machine located in a room next to the bathroom. They have a bar restaurant on the ground floor which we only used for drinks . Pool area was lovely again very clean and never really got busy. Grounds were-very pleasant and well maintained. The location was very good it’s a very short walk along a decked pathway to the beach and a short walk to various shops bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay every member of staff was lovely the English receptionist was really nice nothing was too much trouble. We like Santó Tomás it had a nice chilled vibe and feels very safe. We all enjoyed our stay it was relaxing and chilled. We would definitely return.

  Excellent location, right next to the beach. Reception staff were really helpful. The apartment was really nice. Was very clean and had everything we needed. Was cleaned and serviced twice whilst we were there. The facilities were excellent as well

  We have just returned home from a wonderful holiday. The appartment was so spacious , modern yet homely. We immediately felt comfortable here , and welcomed by the lovely receptionists. The pool is not the biggest , but being a nervous swimmer it was perfect for me and my grandson . We will definitely come back next year to this good value for money and vomfortable hotel! We also love Santo Tomas and the very friendly people.

  We are currently walking the Cami de Cavalls which entails walking a 185km route around the whole of Minorca.. meaning the company we’ve used booked accommodation at various stops en route as well as pick ups etc. We arrived at Hamilton Court around 2.30pm .. and were first of all surprised to find reception was closed with a sign saying to find staff in an office downstairs.. which we did, so she then came back upstairs to reception (still not sure why she couldn’t just stay in reception?) We checked in and for the first time this trip (including two hostels) we were told they are keeping our passports until they complete their details later.. which felt a little strange considering everyone else did it there and then.. anyway, we were told our room is ready and given our key for room 210.. I would also comment the receptionist was not the most welcoming of staff.. We got the lift to our floor only to find the cleaner still servicing our room and would be “Una hora” so we left our cases and went for a late lunch.. on return, this was our first opportunity to really look at what we had .. Oh my goodness.. we understand families on a smaller budget will have limited choice and likely this accommodation will be an option, but there’s budget accommodation, and there’s unsafe accommodation.. We found An electrical socket hanging from the wallStained toilet panRusty taps where they’re so oldA kitchen from the 1980s (can honestly think the units were as old as the apartments) Very dated furniture Even the windows felt unsafe.. the type if a small child ran into would shatter into a million pieces or if the balcony door slammed there’d be glass everywhere. Hilariously, on the balcony there are flower beds with some dried up something and a sign actually asking you to water them.. The whole place just felt unsafe and dirty.. not unclean, as the cleaner left it as clean as it would come up.. . We decided to sit by the pool and consider our options.. it just got funnier.. the sunbed I sat on nearly fell through completely and the next one broke when I tried raising the head rest.. having found a safe one (just) we sat and pondered and even then, ended up back at the room as the smell of drains was so overwhelming We booked a night at another hotel and on checking in explained our situation and to remain fair to Hamilton Court didn’t mention them.. but the receptionist said without prompting “was it the Hamilton Court?” It’s such a shame as it could be so beautiful, but now looks so out of place in Santo Tomas

  It's our 2nd trip to Hamilton court. We choose it because it's affordable accommodation for.our family of 7 and we can all stay in same apartments and not spread over 2... We new from before it's pot luck as to what standard of room you get and wasn't too disappointed tbh.... after the lovely lady in the office there sorted out the mess travel republic had left by cancelling my reservation (only found out on arrival) we was given a 2 bed room that we'd booked but she gave us one with 2 bathrooms (1 bathroom 1 shower room) and a washing machine!! Rooms were dated but functional. Air conditioning was ceiling fans but it helped in the heat wave we had I've the 2 weeks... Wasn't very safe for my 18month baby as he managed to find every loose socket and light switch he could... Beds and towles change once in 2 weeks, they only have us 5 changes of towels so had to ask for more which were delivered in about 20mins so no complaints there. Wouldn't bother with TV rental unless you only want to watch Spanish TV... Beds were ok loads of clothes storage, sofa bed was a proper pull out bed... Balcony furniture was a bit rickety but had to use 2 chairs around dining table as there wasn't enough for 6 people. We are down stairs for dinner in restaurant.. food was good. Steak, burgers cooked how ever you liked.. before when we stayed we were half-board so had option of eating in vista mar apartment restaurant but they all seem closed because of covid. We'd normally eat I the buffet restaurant joined with apartments across the road but that was closed too.. the resort is a quiet resort normally. Yes there is usually a kids disco and evening entertainment from the apartments opposite but we stayed I that side before and all is quiet after 11pm. This year there was nothing so extremely quiet... The beach was lovely as always although all the foot wash stations were closed.due to covid but Hamilton court had there own so not a problem... Although I do prefer the more uo to date apartments of across the road (mistrel and llebeig) value for money for basic accomodation and size of apartments cant go wrong... Yes proper air-conditioning would be fab but even with day temperatures of 35degrees we had this year I didn't have a sleepless night because I was to hot. All in all a lovely if not different holiday (covid restrictions, facemasks and the quarantine)
