Positives-------Extremely cleanFriendly staffNice pool areaGreat breakfastGood position to enjoy the cityNegatives----No view from rooms of the city or harbourBreakfast was good quality but often had to wait for pastries/fruit etc to be replenishedWould we stay here again?? Definitely

  Stayed at hotel Patricia with friends ( 4 of us) for 3 nights.The location of the hotel is very good with everything within 5 /10 minutes walk. Cituadella is a lovely city with a buzzing yet relaxed atmosphere.Our room was of a decent size equipped with a fridge, mini bar ( if you wanted it) and complimentary toiletries. We had a walk in shower which was excellent and very clean and hot.The hotel has a small outdoor pool on the lower level with a few sun beds and a few tables and chairs plus a small but well equipped gym and a pool table.The hotel is bed and breakfast only and breakfast although not vast, was of good quality and tended to be more on the continental side, meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit, limited cereals although there is a small choice of cooked items eggs, bacon etc.The hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere. Rooms and common areas reception etc all gleaming which I really liked.Staff from reception to house keeping are all helpful polite and welcoming.I think the only negative thing I could say ( if I had to) is that the hotel doesn’t have a bar. That being said there are plenty of lovely little bars within 2 or 3 mins walk so not really a problem. It would have been nice just to have a drink at the hotel before going out to a restaurant for dinner but that’s just personal choice.Would we stay again? Absolutely👍and probably will at some point.Thank you all at hotel Patricia.

  Very decent hotel

  We stayed in this hotel for three nights, firstly, it’s in a great location, unbeatable for enjoying all Ciutadella has to offer, the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, our room was ok, bed was comfortable enough but the pillows were dreadful! They were hard, and had no pillow protectors on and were quite grubby! No tea/coffee in the rooms, which isn’t unusual for Spanish hotels, you could help yourself at a coffee station situated in reception, but if you want a hot drink first thing in the morning it’s very inconvenient! Maybe consider siting it in a less public area, as you’d have to get up and dressed to avail yourself of this! The bathrooms were well appointed with very good rainforest showers and clean towels were provided each day, pool towels too, if you wanted them. The air conditioning was very efficient, and was welcome as it was fairly warm! I wasn’t overly impressed with the standard of daily cleaning, I’m pretty sure the floors were never swept or mopped as there was a lot of dark hair all over the bedroom and bathroom floors, and having worked in housekeeping in a previous life, could definitely have made the bed better myself! Breakfast was ok, although the ‘hot’ offerings weren’t! The bacon was congealed and the scrambled eggs were cold. There are many lovely patisserie’s within a stone’s throw of the hotel, with fabulous pastries and ensaimadas, great coffee and fresh juice so it wasn’t a problem. There are many lovely restaurants within a short walk of the hotel, this was our reason for booking here, as we have been visiting the Island for almost 30 years and had day trips to Ciutadella many times, and had always wanted to stay so we could try some of the great food options, and this was a great base from which to do this! We didn’t know when booking that the hotel didn’t have any kind of bar facilities, it seems so strange not to offer this, there is a lovely airy seating area and snooker table downstairs, to which a bar would be a great addition! Why else would you use this area??? The pool is beautiful, although the jacuzzi part wasn’t working when we visited, but freezing! Modern pool with steamer loungers and outdoor covered seating, outdoor showers and toilet facilities, we ended up buying our own sandwiches and refreshments and eating by the pool! I really think the hotel is missing a trick here, they could sell sandwiches/beer/wine as there is the space to do so! It didn’t really bother us too much, as we ate out every night and didn’t get back till late, but it would have been nice to have a nightcap on returning, there was literally nothing to do but go to bed! Finally, I was amused by one review, maintaining that this little hotel is better than some five star establishments in some of the world’s cities!!! Really, it’s a nice simple little hotel with no frills in a great location, that’s not to say we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again, but luxury? No, just good value for money!

  Great location close to the harbour and old town. Almost silent at night except from flushing loo of room above. Neat, clean and modern. Staff well turned out and ever helpful. Generous and varied nice breakfast choices. The room was snug but i got by. No tea and coffee in the room but these available 24/7 in the lobby. Co OK swimming pool and gymette if you must. The main entrance has steps so may limit folk with walking difficulty.

  Hotel Patricia is a three-star hotel with a Superior sub-classification. It is situated near the centre of Cuitidella - Menorca’s old capital city. The King of Spain stayed in the hotel when it first opened. My wife and I have stayed there eight times.First of all, I want to emphasise the word “superior”. Hotel Patricia is not just a superior hotel, it is the BEST hotel I have ever been fortunate to spend time in.I was a Managing Consultant with IBM for 10 years and as a consequence have spent time in a bunch of Hilton and Marriott hotels, in both the UK and USA.My wife and I have also enjoyed stays at The Caledonian Hotel in Edinburgh, The Sandman Signature in Aberdeen and The Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Manhattan, New York - part of the Hilton Group. In my consultancy days, I had top level Diamond status on Hilton’s loyalty programme and always received perks like wine and nibbles in the room, upgrades, etc.But Hotel Patricia beats all of these wannabes. I repeat, it is the BEST hotel that I have ever stayed in. It is absolutely spotless and the staff are simply exceptional. All reception staff speak very good English and cannot do enough to make your stay both memorable and stress free. A nod to the team - Monica, Dani, Bet, Marga and the always resourceful handyman Chema.Hotel Patricia is situated less than a five minute walk from the town square. There are restaurants, bars and shops in abundance. Special mention must be made of Cas Consul, a quite brilliant restaurant on the square with superb views of the harbour. I would also recommend S’esplenada for lunch, just off the square. Not least because it stocks my favourite beer - Alhambra 1925 Reserva (in its distinctive green bottle). Just superb.Hotel Patricia has a small pool at lower ground level. It has ten quality loungers and a bunch of tables and chairs if you need to take some respite from the vagaries of the Menorcan sun. Also on this level is a gym, a pool table and a restaurant where a good quality buffet breakfast can be enjoyed.if you turn right when coming out of the hotel - in the opposite direction from the square - you are just 7-8 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea. A lovely 40-minute morning stroll can take you down to the harbour, onto the square and back to hotel.I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to you.
