    Very nice hotel in Mahón.Beautiful decoration, the staff very hepful, the lady at the reception was very nice sharing with me tips and tricks on what to visit and how to use the public transport.The breakfast was included, with an offer of vegan, vegetarian, and healthy food ;)Very cosy room, cleaned and equipped with all the becessary facilities.During the nights, go to the 3rd floor to enjoy the open air terrace and the restaurant located there.

    A very poor experience staying 3 nights at Hotel San Miguel -- definitely NOT worth the 3-stars that it has, as this is at best a 2-star stay. The room itself is small but functional, with a comfortable bed and a nice large bathroom with a bathtub with a jacuzzi jet and a bidet, and even a window. The issues are in the (mis)management of the hotel: it seems to be run by a family that understands little about hospitality. The hotel wifi is ridiculously slow (hello, 21st century?) and in my room there is hardly any signal, so I had to tether my phone to get the internet. The room ironically has a wifi router, but it's connected to an ethernet jack that has no signal. Finally, there's very little storage in the room -- so if you come for more than a couple of days, you won't have where to put your stuff. The second morning I woke up to discover no hot water and went down to the desk to tell the staff about it. 20min later, there was still no hot water, and the manager was VERY UNHAPPY about ME pressing him for the ETA. Breakfasts are mediocre at best, though the espresso is very good, and you have to ask for everything explicitly -- note: you will be pushed to get sweet items instead of savory.Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel -- I suggest you take your money elsewhere (and I would strongly recommend staying in Ciutadella anyway, it's got a much better vibe!)

    Place is at great location, just few minutes walk to city center. Place look as the pictures shows. But the best of the place is the staff, so friendly and helpful. You can ask for anything and they will make it happen.

    We stayed two nights here and were very well looked after, excellent care and caution during the virus. Unable to have bar or breakfast buffet service but breakfast was still excellent with a choice of eggs, fruit, croissants etc brought to our table. Joanna and her husband were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. Excellently located with close proximity to the shops and bars. The port was not far where we dined for two nights running. We will definitely return.     Seven nights of bliss.

    We chose the Hotel SanMiguel for it’s close proximity to the centre in September 2019, we were not disappointed. Our hosts were super friendly, our room and bathroom was spacious clean and so so comfortable. Breakfasts were more than we could have asked for and if needed tailored to your needs. Our hosts were also helpful in suggesting restaurants in and around Mahon. Hopefully it will not be too long before we visit again, we certainly had a memorable weeks holiday.
