    A paradise that rejuvenates the soul!!

    Sant Joan de Binissaida isn't just a hotel, it's a little slice of heaven. The grounds are immaculate and inspire a sense of calm unlike any place I've ever been. My soul felt nourished and my spirit was lifted. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive and help foster a the sense of wellbeing the resort instills in guests. They offer a wide array of services like massages, olive cultivation tours, olive oil tasting, wine tasting and exceptional dinners. Words really can't express how appreciative we are of their dedication to their crafts and their attention to detail. They made it all look effortless and yet they provided an experience I will remember for a lifetime. A sincere and heart felt thank you to everyone there, and applause is due for doing all of this with a focus on protecting and healing our planet.

    Disappointing early October stay

    Saint Joan de Binissaida is a lovely agriturismo just outside Mahon. We booked the Wagner suite with its large terrace overlooking the glorious countryside and hoped for a warm, relaxed few days. But this notion was shattered when we saw the building works immediately opposite, which we had not been advised of, even upon check-in. A large crane arrived on the first morning and there was loud, constant noise all day, not just from the works, but from the builders themselves shouting amongst each other. It was truly awful, and very stressful.Thankfully, the third day was a public holiday and so we managed to have just one enjoyable, relaxing day. As for the restaurant, again, a beautiful setting. But for the first 2 nights many items on the menu were not available, apparently ‘as it is the end of the season’ - yet miraculously, there was a fuller menu available on our last night?! BIzarre! The rice dish with squid and prawns at Euros50 was absurd - there were just 2 or 3 prawn heads in it, no actual prawns (!)and it was so salty we could not even eat it!One evening we had to wait 40 minutes to get a cocktail at the poolside bar as the bar person was late for her shift..…..Most of the staff were very charming and helpful, but overall the whole experience was disappointing and amateurish.For the sake of one week (which it turns out it was), it seemed crazy that the hotel could not have liaised with their neighbours and agreed to start the building works once the hotel had closed.All of the above was relayed to the hotel staff at the time.It is such a shame that what could have been a magical break, turned out to be the complete opposite.

    What a disappointment avoid this place

    What a disappointment. There were only 2 courses on the meat section the others being unavailable. The oddest thing is that both of these came with crisps no vegetables. When this was queried we were told the crisps were chips. No atmosphere and grumpy staff.

    It's in the middle of nowhere so it is quiet environment. Staff are friendly and kind. The food is good. However, the walls are very thin and we could hear the next door guest playing games which was stopped when we complained. And when we were bitten by mosquitoes they provided with repellents and calming spray. So the staff are there to help us. But they cannot help when our sleep is disturbed by the next door guest's snoring, or leaving in early morning. Our sleep was not great. Otherwise it's a nice place. There is a pool as well.

    We are delighted with our stay at this lovely quaint pretty hotel. Everything is very simple and extremely organized, as well as very tasteful. I have never seen staff members that work so hard all day with a smile in this heat. There is an enormous amount of attention paid to every detail. The staff is extremely nice and each one of them are excellent at problem solving. We could not have chosen a better place. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious. Everything they cook is local produce either from their own gardens or near by neighbors. We are sad to leave.
