Location

This complex is situated in the touristic centre of the town. Many shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are to be found approximately 2 km from the hotel and the nearest beach is some 2.5 km away. Public transport is around 1 km away and Menorca Airport (Mahón) is 15 km from the hotel.

Facility

The property includes 14 villas/houses as well as 3 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The finca offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the finca feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. A safe and a minibar are also available. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station, dishwasher and oven. Other amenities available include a washing machine and an ironing set. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Guests can also make use of the cleaning service on departure. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. A variety of activities such as cycling/mountain biking, golf and horse riding or, for a fee, tennis, are offered the finca. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as sailing and kayaking. For a fee, guests can also enjoy windsurfing, paddle boating, banana boat rides, canoeing, snorkelling and diving. Both short and long-stay guests are welcome to use the amenities on offer the finca, including a gym, billiards and bowling. The wellness offerings the finca include a spa, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments. A dance club offers fun and entertainment.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather.

    Noisy nearby hotel

    PositivesThe villa was spacious and had 3 beautiful sized bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms and a four poster bed. The pool was massive, and really deep. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. Our neighbours in the nearby villas were all Spanish and were very quiet and respectful. We found Son Bou to have the longest, most beautiful beach of the island. (Further down the beach near the sand dunes was the quietest spot).NegativesSadly the villas are opposite hotel Valentin, which had loud performances and music every night 8pm-11pm. It ruined the quiet feel to the area.The villas needed a few updates- broken toilet lids, missing tiles in the swimming pool, rusty radiators.

    We loved our stay here, and anywhere that is looked after by Menorca Rentals is our go to place! Great villa, huge pool. Clean and tidy and well located. The hill didn’t bother us, we had a car but also walked down to the resort and back each night. It is at the top of Torre Soli Nou by the Valentin hotel but there are stairs or the hill as a walking option. Great facilities, fantastic experience with Menorca rentals and will probably stay again :)

    We have recently arrived home after a last minute 4 night stay. When booking our holiday I struggled to find many reviews hence me leaving this one!We sorted our own taxi transfer and upon arriving at the Villla, the taxi kindly offered us a lift back down the hill to ‘Menorca Rentals’ to collect the key! I just assumed the key collection point would be closer than it was.The villa was perfect for us - it’s the first time we’ve stayed in a villa and we loved it! It did feel a little remote and if I was staying longer we’d of ‘definitely’ hired a car.It is a good walk down the big hill to get to the resort however we managed it every morning for a trip to the bakery and again in the evenings for our meal out.The pool was bigger than I expected, and the villa was kitted out better than I expected it to be.Local supermarkets were expensive, I’ve read that people do online food shops which I believe are much cheaper.

    Fantastic holiday

    This was the most amazing villa. The pool of fantastic, we went with our 3 adult children , we all loved it. The bedrooms and bathrooms are gorgeous. The kitchen is fully equipped with every possible thing you couldNeed! The only thing to note is you need to collect the key in the reception which is down the end of a very strap hill about 10 minute walk. We found we did need a car there to get around. It was one of our top holidays ever! Menorca is spectacular!

    Dirty and poor maintenance

    Advised on arrival we were being given a "free upgrade", I suspect our villa had been double booked. We were allocated Villas Finesse 14. It was filthy, poorly maintained and a health hazard, too many to go through in detail. The smoke alarm was missing, a live electrical socket hanging out of the wall, deep scratches, marks, stains and grime on the furniture, walls and kitchen appliances and trip hazards around the pool due to poorly fitted and maintained tiling, to name but a few. Not an understatement to say it ruined the holiday. This holiday was advertised as luxury with plush decor - this description was not what we experienced, at all, it was dirty, poorly maintained and very outdated. We obtained photographic evidence and complained. Within a week we received 20% of the booking price back, no quibbles, even though the tour company had not even seen the photographs as there were too many to send. This is a clear indication that this may not be the first complaint and/or they know the condition of it. The holiday cost us a small fortune, I've stayed in better Premier Inns. Also the complex is situated at the top of a very steep hill, car hire is essential, we could not leave the complex without using the car. Never, ever, again.
