Location

This hotel is situated in the heart of Vigo, opposite the sea. It is approximately 1 km from the railway station, 2 km from the bus station, and some 3 km from Castrelos. In addition, the ferry which departs for the Cíes Islands, located about 10 km away, departs from a point very near to the hotel. Guests are also recommended to go on excursions to Baiona (about 30 km) and Sanxenxo (about 50 km).

Facility

The hotel has 4 junior suites, a suite, 34 single rooms and 30 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing.     Excellent location and Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. If you have the right room you will have a view of the port and estuary. Cruise ships might block the view, but they usually sail away after a few hours.The location is next to the older part of town as well as being adjacent to the historical center, which has grand buildings and attractive parks,Estefania at the FRONT DESK was super nice with a lot recommendations to do around VIGO .

    We stayed at this hotel once again, this time with some friends. In July 2017 we wrote a detailed review. Unfortunately, the hotel was not as pleasing this time. My Titanium membership status was not acknowledged. We did not receive an upgrade for our room. The quality of sleep was terrible, as the room temperature was not maintained as desired—the AC kept switching off periodically and the room would heat up. Car parking is still in a separate building and remains confusing. I am not sure if we will return.     A Perfect Stay by the Sea

    My stay at AC Hotel Palacio Universal in Vigo was truly lovely. The location is beautiful and peaceful, but what made it special was the staff always kind, professional, and welcoming, with a warm smile every time.Everything felt smooth and thoughtfully cared for. I left feeling calm, happy, and definitely wanting to return.

    Very nice hotel in a good location. They have a restaurant but I did not eat there. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed there was no coffee in the room but you can’t have everything. I received 2 bottles of water daily. You can walk to all the restaurants in the area & the waterfront.

    The hotel is located in an ideal and central location within Vigo. The staff was friendly and the room/suite was spacious. The room was stocked with coffee and water daily and the breakfast in the lobby was expansive.The biggest draw without question is how central the hotel is to the downtown area. Very pleasant staty
