  This was a really nice stay. The room was very nice with microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. I really liked that there were sanitizing wipes throughout the room. You do have to pay for parking which was new to me at Hampton Inn. The breakfast was nothing special. Another nice touch was that you were given a choice of water or soda to take with you when you left.

  Having stayed here previously in April, I’m pleased to say that this hotel (which was already good) has improved in such short time. The staff was friendly and there were lots of hot beverage options after a long day of travel. The rooms had been recently renovated and were well-appointed. Rates were reasonable for the area, known to me and many other of my fellow travelers a sort of hotel desert if you will in this part of Appalachia. Breakfast sufficed. Lived up to its best-in-town status.

  Check in was easy as I was able to use digital pre check in through the app. I was given the room I had requested. The room was decent sized and appeared clean.the bed was clean and comfortable.The AC worked wellthe bathroom was nice and large and appeared clean and well lit. There were plenty of towels. However, the toilet was broken and did not flush. It was repaired while we were at dinner, but never did work correctly while we were there. It was only one night so no point trying to get a new room. I also noticed the shower diverter did not work well and thus the shower had lower water pressure.The room had a nice big TV, fridge, microwave, etc.there were enough outlets for charging items.The hotel had a pretty good gym and a very nice pool and hot tub. breakfast was good. waffles, eggs, yogurt, etc.

  Great Hampton INN to stay in in Charleston , WV

  Stayed at this hotel many years ago and decided to stay her while back in the area. The hotel is very nice and clean. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Bathroom was a decent size and shower water temperature was hot enough. Breakfast buffet featured hot and cold items. There was a nice variety but missed berries and blueberry muffins like many Hampton Inns have in other locations. They had a large indoor pool and hot tub. Pool water was too cold for my liking but hot tub was decent size and hot! Staff was friendly. Parking was decent and price to stay was as well. Will gladly return here to stay if in the area again. Hotel is located next to Quaker Steak and Lube many other restaurants and shopping plazas.

  Hard to believe this is the number one hotel in Charleston. Digital key not provided, even though I checked in online I still had to check in at the desk, show credit card and ID. We were given room 522. This room smelled like wet dog, so we went back downstairs and were given room 425.This was much better, bedroom was clean, nice TV and bed linens. Bathroom floor could use a good cleaning, especially around the tub and the ceiling had been poorly patched in a of couple spots. We spent the next night in an Airbnb in Clendenin with much better accommodations and half the price.
