  Beautiful view from level 10. Quiet and peaceful.Magnificent building with marble staircase and wonderful cafe and bar. However the housekeeping was poor. Dusty glass table next to my bed. Cups left uncleaned with strangely coasters placed on top!Club lounge crowded but good. Would not stay here again due to lack of cleanliness.

  Fine hotel for business or pleasure. Rooms are a good size for Sydney nowadays. The club lounge is pretty disappointing unfortunately.

  Great Service, Amazing Breakfast & Ideal Location

  We stayed at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park for 2 nights in a Grand Executive City Side King Room with Club Lounge access, at a cost of AUD $1,221.00.We arrived earlier than check-in (and were travelling with my husband’s elderly parents, who had booked a Standard King Room. The staff were very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. They kindly upgraded my in-laws to the same room type as ours next door (without Club Lounge access), which they were extremely happy with. That thoughtful gesture made the start of our stay much easier and was greatly appreciated. We got into our room just after 10am.The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent and we both slept well. The bathroom was also impressive, with both a bathtub and a separate shower, along with all the usual amenities you would expect from a hotel of this standard.We also enjoyed having access to the Club Lounge in the evenings, which was open from 5pm to 7pm. There were some great little food options, enough to satisfy your appetite, along with a good selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. It was a lovely way to unwind after a day out, although it did get quite busy at times. We chose to spend our breakfast in the main restaurant as more selection.The buffet breakfast was one of the best we’ve experienced, with a huge variety of choices and, importantly, good quality food. Everything was fresh and well presented, making it a great start to the day and the staff were super friendly and accommodatingThe location was also fantastic. There was a metro stop just a 5-minute walk away, and another train station was directly opposite the hotel with an underground walkway providing easy access. Being right next door to Westfield was very convenient for shopping, and there were plenty of great eateries nearby. We also walked to Darling Harbour, which took us around 15 to 20 minutes at a relaxed pace, although there is a slight incline on the return walk.As we were boarding a cruise after our stay, we took an Uber to the Overseas Passenger Terminal rather than walk with elderly parents and suitcases. It was much more convenient and cost around AUD $25 for the four of us with luggage.Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The excellent service, comfortable and spacious rooms, Club Lounge access, outstanding breakfast, and convenient location made this a hotel we would happily stay at again.

  A Memorable Birthday Celebration

  We had a wonderful stay celebrating my sister’s birthday—it was truly a memorable experience from start to finish.As a Platinum member, I really appreciated the recognition and seamless service. Check-in at the downstairs reception was quick and pleasant, thanks to Jenny, who clearly explained all our benefits and confirmed that our vegan requests for the club lounge had been noted. Both of our rooms were upgraded to park-view rooms, which was a lovely touch. Additionally, my 10-year-old niece was generously included in the complimentary breakfast as part of our welcome benefits.The rooms themselves were modern, spacious, and offered beautiful views of the park. Having connecting rooms with my sister made the stay especially convenient for our family.A special highlight was the thoughtful birthday cake provided for my sister—it was a lovely gesture that made the celebration even more special.The club lounge experience was outstanding. Since children aren’t allowed upstairs in the evening, we were accommodated downstairs, and the team made an exceptional effort to prepare vegan food and desserts for us. This level of care and attention was truly impressive. Even during the day, they offered vegan options like protein balls, which we really enjoyed. Overall, this was one of the best lounge experiences we’ve had.Breakfast also featured excellent vegan options, and the team was happy to prepare Indian dishes upon request, which we appreciated.The location is fantastic—we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go in the city. The dual front and back entrances made getting around even more convenient.All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
