    Great stopover

A really nice little hotel. Everything is kept in good decorative condition and very clean. We had a nice sized room with a very comfy bed. A very good (if basic) buffet style breakfast. The hotel does offer gated parking, which may be necessary in peak periods, but we found ample parking on the road right outside. We'd definitely stay again.

    Absolutely love it here!

Me and my husband stayed here for our first wedding anniversary as we had got married the year before in the neighbouring village of Riudecanyes. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff are welcoming, helpful and can't do enough for you! The hotel has a charm that I don't think many hotels have nowadays. Breakfast is simple but really lovely and fresh ingredients and the room was cleaned everyday to a brilliant standard! The hotel is positioned right in the centre of town so its just a short stroll to all the amenities in town. The private pool that is for hotel residents only is absolutely beautiful and is a real asset to the hotel! We are already planning our holiday there next year!

Lovely old place in quaint Spanish town

    rating13 May 2018

Old hotel with curious taste in decor with teddy bears and stuffed animals all around. Room spotless and staff very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Fabulous swimming pool but only disappointment is that pictures do not show that you have to cross a busy main road to get to it! Good parking

We had only one night in this gorgeous little hotel, but we really enjoyed it. It's very tastefully decorated, lovely rooms, great breakfast. The swimming pool is very nice! We will definitely be back!

Good hotel, wonderful swimming pool garden, shame about the air conditioning

    rating28 Jun 2017

This is a wonderful little hotel, very friendly and authentic. It seems to be run by women and the attention to detail and helpfulness was fantastic. The room was fine - not very large, but large enough and the sort of size I'd expect in a 3 star hotel. The bathroom was very good and I'm fussy about bathrooms. It was a good size and the shower (in the bath) was excellent. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of choice though as almost always in Spain, I was glad I had brought my own teapot etc and came down to the breakfast room with a ready made pot of tea. While they did have teapots with real tea, they were tiny teapots and the tea was too weak for me. The other brilliant thing about this hotel was the swimming pool in a stunning garden over the road. It was good enough for a Parador. When we went there was a coolish breeze so we just slept and then planned the next stage of our journey on the poolside tables. I so wanted to stay another day but what really let this hotel down for us was the air conditioning. The room was great until we tried to sleep and then we realised just how fierce even the low fan setting was. It was also very loud. The first night we turned it off and opened the window, but it was still very hot and airless. The second night we managed to set the flow so it went over our heads but it was still too noisy. Reluctantly we didn't stay a third night and won’t come back on our way back to Reus airport. The hotel might have been able to sort the problem if we had been able to ask, but we only have a smattering of Spanish and they didn’t speak English, so we were a bit stuck. Nevertheless, we still have very happy memories of our stay in this hotel.
