  One of the best all inclusive experience we had.

  We stayed at Estival El Dorado from 16th to 23d of May.We stayed in a room in an adult pavilion and we were surprised how quiet it was. Everything was spotless clean. The food was amazing. I normally eat a lot of meat and at lunch or dinner there was a great variety if grilled or roasted dishes. I think I ate here the best lamb, the veal steak was great, the gulas was fantastic, and one evening we had rabbit. My wife couldn't have enough sword fish. And it doesn't end here... If other times we couldn't have any deserts as they were terribly sweet I am afraid this time we might have overendulged. I will upload some pictures... The breakfast was what one might expect. Unfortunately the only veg available were tomatoes, I wish there were some peppers, olives, or even some pickeles. The coffee in the restaurant is instant coffee if one can have that, but if you can wait till after 10, you can have at the bar a proper expresso.The bar staff are friendli and rather generous with the drinks I'd say... More then once I asked for a brandy, but got a double. Cheers.We had a really good time, and even if never stayed at the same hotel twice, we would like to come back to Estival El Dorado.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  “Outstanding Family Holiday – Spotless Resort & Amazing Staff”

  We recently stayed at Estival ElDorado Resort in Cambrils and honestly could not fault it — 5/5 from our family.Travelling with two young children (a 9-month-old baby and our 4-year-old), we were delighted to receive an upgrade to a Junior Suite on arrival, which made a huge difference for our stay as a family. The extra space, comfort and layout were excellent and very much appreciated.The room itself was spotless throughout our stay. It was cleaned every single day to a very high standard with fresh towels and bed linen provided daily. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower was excellent, and having a separate toilet area was very convenient for family use. The balcony was also large, secure and lovely to relax on in the evenings.The entire resort was exceptionally clean with amazing attention to detail everywhere you looked. The grounds, swimming pools and amenities were all maintained to an extremely high standard and the whole resort felt very safe and secure for families with children. We especially loved the beautiful green grass areas beside the beach which were perfect for relaxing while keeping an eye on the kids.The food was very good with plenty of variety every day, and the staff throughout the resort were absolutely outstanding. A special mention to all of the staff in the pool bar area at lunchtime — the ladies serving food and drinks every day were genuinely excellent. They were so warm, polite and helpful, especially with the children, and always made us feel welcome.Likewise, the bar staff in the evenings were fantastic — incredibly efficient, friendly and professional. Despite the resort being busy, there was never really a queue and service was always quick with a smile.A very special mention also to the young lady working in the sports bar on our first night. Unfortunately, I can’t remember her name, but she was absolutely brilliant with our children and so kind and helpful to us after travelling. Small gestures like bringing water straight away and making sure we were comfortable really stood out and made a big impression.Reception staff were also excellent throughout the stay — always welcoming, professional and happy to help with anything we needed.The location of the resort is fantastic, right on the beach with beautiful surroundings and easy access to everything. We genuinely had such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday here and would highly recommend this resort to couples and families alike.Fair play to all of the staff — they really made the holiday special for us. We will definitely return again in the future!

  Great Hotel with Amazing staff

  I travelled wiith my wife for her birthday with Jet2 staying here on an All Inclusive basis in room 3262. First impression on arrival was excellent with a lovely warm welcome from the reception staff. The room was fantastic with everything you could need and has a balcony with a sea view. If you want to be able to make your own tea and coffee I would suggest taking it with you. There was a fridge in the room with bottled water in. The cleanliness at the hotel was spotless, the rooms were cleaned daily and the common areas were never dirty. The gardeners made everywhere look amazing. The pools heated up around lunch time and I swear there was a sun bed for everyone in Spain! The choice of food during the week was of excellent quality and did vary everyday. The drinks at the multiple bars were the best I've had at an all inclusive as virtually nothing was missing. Loads of cocktails and plenty of other options. A meal in the Terrace restaurant was included with Jet2 and this was superb quality, with very attentive staff. During our stay I had a medical emergency, the amazing reception staff called a taxi to take me to hospital in Cambrils. I was transferred to ICU in Reus hospital for further treatment. On my discharge we had no idea where we were, the hotel helped us to get back by finding a taxi company in Reus to pick us up and bring me back. The hotel is excellent but the staff make it what it is. I think we will be back just for the staff. Thanks

  First time at this hotel. Positives are the pool and gardens are very clean as is the dining area. Plenty of sun beds round the pool. Bar areas are lovely .Negatives are that sadly there are no sun loungers at all in the beach despite being told there are. Also no sun shades at all at the splash park which is predominantly for families. Room smelt very musty as there is no extractor fan in the bathroom meaning it gets very damp after showering. Food is extremely repetitive in the restaurant and certain foods are not adequately labelled . You have no idea if they contain meat or not which as a vegetarian is frustrating and not good for food intolerances.No one told us where to get towels or other key information. Info about the kids daily activities but it doesn’t tell you where they are.It’s such a lovely hotel but just a shame with a beach front location that you can’t relax on the beautiful beach. Staff could also be friendlier as a smile goes a long way.

  Family of 3 – 12-night all-inclusive stay.

  It’s a nice hotel that has been freshly renovated. The rooms have fairly basic decor, but they are very spacious with plenty of storage. The coffee machine in the room comes with three complimentary pods, and extra pods can be purchased via room service.We stayed in a suite with a sea view and balcony, which is what we booked. However, the sea view was partially obscured by a large tree.Food and restaurant:We were happy with the food choices available at the buffet restaurant. However, the drinks selection was quite limited. Poor-quality wine and beer are available from dispensing taps, along with soft drinks. I believe you can order proper drinks at the bar and bring them into the restaurant.There’s also a restaurant by the splash park. Just make sure you don’t make any mistakes when ordering your food, otherwise the lady in charge may greet you with a rude stare and say something in Spanish/Catalan that you probably won’t understand. She was by far the rudest person we encountered and the only negative interaction we had with the staff.There’s another bar on the beach, but it’s not included in the all-inclusive package, so you have to pay extra for everything. We didn’t bother using it.If you’re looking for really good coffee, your best bet is the older gentleman who usually works mornings at the main bar — absolutely amazing coffee.For takeaway drinks from the bar area, you’re given tokens that you exchange for plastic glasses. Personally, I found this system unnecessarily inconvenient and just another thing to think about during the holiday. Water is provided in reusable plastic bottles that you refill yourself — again, not ideal in my opinion.The splash park, evening entertainment for kids, and kids’ club were all really good and highly recommended.Parking is available on-site for €15 per night, although street parking is free and just as convenient.The massage facilities are excellent. Both my wife and I had a 50-minute tension relief massage and were very happy with the service.Overall, it’s a nice hotel with friendly staff, good food, and great family facilities.
