    Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Salou!Location:The hotel is in a fantastic location, with plenty to do nearby. The beach is just a short walk down the hill, and there are lots of bars, restaurants, and shops within easy reach.Atmosphere:The hotel has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and is a lot smaller than other hotels that I’ve stayed in. There were plenty of daytime activities to get involved in, and I particularly enjoyed the evening entertainment. A special mention to Kira, who runs the entertainment programme—she did an amazing job and made every evening fun and engaging. Also, shout out to the lovely staff behind the bar :) Food: Outstanding, great selection which differed each evening. Rooms:The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Housekeeping came daily to clean the room and provide fresh towels, which was greatly appreciated.Special Thanks:It was also my birthday during our stay, and Christine kindly arranged for the kitchen to make me a birthday cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made my day extra special.

    Christine on reception was above and beyond. We did not get our pool view room but she worked it the next day so we did. Big shout out to you. Thank you. We also had a problem with our air-con not working but it was fixed within a couple of hours. Keira -well I have never seen someone work so hard. Great nights in the hotel, well done Keira. Hotel was lovely. Very clean but we found pool area small and they need more than one person behind the bar in the evenings. Especially if cocktails were ordered. The wait was long. All staff were friendly.Good buffet breakfast everyday with a breakfast chef making fresh omelettes, pancakes, toasties etc. we tried the food in the evening a couple of times. I wasn’t overly keen. Paid 20.00 euros each for that as we were only B&B. Lovely Irish restaurant over the road. The hill to the beach and town was tough on the way back on us oldies so beware! Overall it was a lovely hotel to stay but the area was noisy at night.     What an amazing holiday. Every single member of staff from reception to bar staff make you feel special and welcome. All staff go out of their way to make it a holiday to remember. Kira is full of energy and gets people involved with games round the pool. Entertainment and food was spot on. Would recommend this hotel to anyone excellent location, spotless clean, friendly professional staff and a great place to make memories. Booked for next year already cant wait to come back.     A hotel is just a building without caring staff. It is the people who transform a building into a hotel by providing services like check-in, room service, hotel catering, maintenance, and security. My wife Liz and I enjoyed another excellent holiday in the Golden Acqua Hotel, Salou, from the 12th of May until the 26th of May 2026. On arrival, we were greeted by the amazing and very friendly receptionist called Gloria. We would take this opportunity to thank Gloria for her courtesy and kindness during our stay. We want to mention Gemma (in charge of the reception) for her care and thoughtfulness during our vacation. We would also like to thank Monica, Christine, Alba and all the other reception staff at the Golden Acqua Hotel for their friendliness and consideration during our holiday. It is their hospitality that creates a fantastic guest experience.We had requested a room on a higher floor near the lifts with a pool view, and this is exactly what we got. Our chambermaid, Daniele, was lovely and so very friendly. She cleaned our room and changed all our towels daily, and Daniele also changed our bedding frequently. Unfortunately, the Beds are still too low and uncomfortable and need to be replaced (our only criticism). We think Golden Hotels should invest in more appropriate beds for the benefit of their guests and the arduous bed-making tasks of their housekeeping staff.Our appreciation for their camaraderie and helpfulness during our stay goes to Paula (the restaurant and bar manager), Myrana, Lali, Valaria and Thomas. Our gratitude also extends to Fatima and Assan, the kitchen chefs, and to Francisco and Bouziane in the show-cooking area. All the other staff we spoke to in the restaurant and the kitchen were very pleasant, and they all made us feel very welcome.Gade, Abdou (Abdoulaye), and all the other people who work in the Gallery Bar are some of the nicest people we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them, and everything was done with a smile and in a very sociable manner. We appreciated Raul's assistance and the friendliness of this very obliging maintenance man. It was lovely for my wife and me to meet and chat with our very dear friend Belen from housekeeping. Kira (guest entertainer) is charming and very professional. Kira is a likeable and considerate person. We know that Mario, the Manager of the Golden Acqua Hotel (who always made time to chat with us during our stay), really appreciates having such good employees. It was fantastic to meet up with Bryan & Jackie, Jamie & Lorraine, and Peter, who are our friends from previous holidays.Mike & Liz Dear (Aberdeen).     Location of the hotel is ideal but is on an incline We found it very welcoming and we had fun playing the games with Kira she is an asset to the hotel the bar and waiting staff are lovely hi to Paula and Gade at the bar and Valeria in the restaurant always had a smile we stayed all inclusive and the food was excellent but not always hot we had to make use of the microwave sometimes.
