  Perfection describes Golden Costa Salou hotel. From first welcoming arrival by very friendly professional reception staff our holiday was a 5 star experienceThe cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the hotel is second to none. Our room was 130 on first floor and was spacious, with all amenities, fridge,large television, free safe, super shower, great quality bed and super cleanWe were half board and the variety and quality of food was excellent and bar prices very reasonableThe pool area was very spacious and plenty of sunbeds and seating areaThe most impressive part of Golden Costa has to be the staff and the atmosphere they create , they can't do enough for you in every areaSpecial mention to Mica in dining room,reception staff and Khalya our house maid not forgetting Andrea, Miss Personality always, and Christian who were so entertaining as was the nightly entertainmentThank you all for a fabulous holiday and 100% we will return ,

  Stayed for a week to 28th May. Hotel is clean, modern and staff are lovely across the hotel from activities to dining.I have an allergy to fish and I explained to Oulfa (sorry if I got the spelling wrong here), she was outstanding. Every night she explained what was safe for me to eat and if something needed cooked separately, she done this too. She was amazing and the absolute star of the week for me. I felt so safe and cared for and cannot thank her and the dining team enough.Hotel is right on the beach which is great. It’s a short taxi up to salou as the area around the hotel is fairly quiet but, we had been happy to upgrade to all inclusive and eat at the hotel, they also provided entertainment each night and it was good fun with again lovely staff.Personally I found the bed a little too hard but that being said, I’ve fibromyalgia and hip pain so it’s likely to be more down to my condition. I’ve felt safe, welcomed and well looked after this week and for a relaxing and chilled out time, I’d recommend this hotel highly and will be back soon. Thank you so much for a great week.

  Title: Another Fantastic Stay at The Golden Costa

  Title: Another Fantastic Stay at The Golden Costa My wife and I have just spent 10 nights at The Golden Costa in La Pineda, and this was our second visit, having also stayed in May last year.The reception staff are always friendly, efficient and helpful. We did have to wait a little while for our room to be ready, but the wait was made very pleasant with a complimentary glass of bubbly and a comfortable seat by the pool area, closely followed by a glass of sangria from the entertainment staff who had been putting on a display for guests.Our room was clean, fresh and serviced daily, with toiletries and refreshments replenished each day. There was plenty of wardrobe space, a long shelf for personal items, a fridge, kettle and tea/coffee facilities. A really nice touch is that the safe is free to use. The balcony was a good size, with a table, chairs and a hanging rail for drying clothes.The bathroom had a large walk-in shower with good water pressure and hot water available at any time of day. There was also a toilet, bidet and basin with storage underneath. Nice scented hair and body wash, conditioner and a hairdryer were provided. The only small improvement I’d suggest would be some sort of nightlight in the bathroom, so you don’t have to either stumble around in the dark or light up the whole room for a nighttime visit!The pool area is nicely laid out and we never had any trouble getting sun loungers. The pool temperature was pleasant too. A few guests mentioned that the rooftop pool felt a little cold, although I didn’t use it this holiday so can’t comment personally.The food is of really good quality with plenty of variety, and we never struggled to find something we enjoyed. There’s even fizz available at breakfast, which is a nice bonus! The restaurant staff work incredibly hard and are a real credit to the hotel.Andrea ("the pocket rocket") and Christian deserve a special mention. Their dedication is admirable — always willing to help and entertain. They accompany guests on walks and market trips, organise games and fitness activities during the day, and in the evenings there’s always a quiz before they’re back on the dance floor enjoying the evening entertainment with guests.The bar staff are also friendly and efficient, and the table service is another nice touch.All in all, Ang and I absolutely love this place and have already booked to return next May. We can’t wait to come back!

  Little GEM of a hotel

  This hotel is a little GEM.. We stayed here from the 16th - 23rd May HB We had room 238 facing out to the front of the hotel we had a little sea view too on to the promenade. Rooms are lovely and spacious with wardrobes enough for all your clothes just bring extra hangers.. TV had all English channels on. The bathrooms are also spacious with lovely big walk in shower with 2 option of showers one big rainfall one and a smaller one both very good. Rooms were always cleaned to a high standard too.. only 1 thing there was a vending machine by our room that could be very noisy at times with people talking there late at night.. think would be a good idea for this be moved away from People’s rooms to an area where it won’t disturb people. The restaurant food here is very good breakfast and evening meal always so much choice even fussy eaters will eat well here. Always a big cooked meat where you can add sauces if wanted then lots of other dish’s all very tasty too. Can’t forgot the puddings they were all to die for. The pool area and roof top terrace was lovely areas lots of beds with no worries at all to get one when wanted the pool area opens at 9am people did wait to get “there beds “ but there are enough for everyone in the sun and shade. Roof terrace opens at 10 also people wait to get beds but up there is full on sunshine for everyone. The pools are clean and nice to get not too cold just enough to cool off and be-able to get in. Other areas in hotel all lovely lots of places to sit and chill. The bar was always staffed and got drinks with ease prices of drinks are good 2 wines 7 euros 2 large beers 7 euros cocktail range from 8-12 euros. Snacks from the bar are also good there is lots of choice and all good prices too. The area around the hotel is also good there are 2 little shops down the little hill towards the beach very good prices in there too. The beach down the bottom of the road was lovely you can walk out in the sea for a good while nice and sallow. The beaches are always cleaned and while we was there they was adding bars and toilets along the promenade. It’s a nice walk down there with a few more shops and bars. The buses are also just outside the hotel to the left on the road very good services to Tarragona Salou and other areas they run until around 11pm too. All in all we had a fab time at this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.All the staff are very friendly and helpful too…

  Fantastic Hotel

  This was our second visit as we came for a week last year, it won’t be our last The hotel is on the edge of La Pineda - the new promenade is now in place and it’s 1.5 miles long, great for running or walking The hotel itself is spotlessly clean - the room and area cleaners do a fantastic job and can’t be faulted The food is great - we were half board (but all inclusive last year) and drinks are reasonably priced (€7 for 2 glasses of wine) The 2 resident entertainers don’t stop - both were here last year, in fact over 90% of the staff we remember from last year There’s no noise in the hotel (apart from the occasional banging door) and the rooms are well equipped with a Nespresso, kettle, fridge, safe and comfy bed We will definitely return
