  The apartment is old, dirty and unwelcome. Found cockroach. Persistent bad smell, dirty walls, floors, surfaces in general. Many things need fixing, really bad maintenance. Avoid, try to find a better place and make it a good holiday not a horrible one

  The rooms are very tired and dirty. It’s ok for a few nights with your mates but I wouldn’t take my girlfriend here. It’s cheap and cheerful but I wouldn’t take suggest paying a little extra and staying somewhere a bit nicer in the area. I walked around the apartment in bear feet and the soles of my feet were filthy after a few minutes.

  This holiday was a nightmare holiday our flight got delayed we reach the airport eventually then there was no transfer bus after we paid for it so had to pay money fir a taxi then reached out hotel at about 4am no being g able to get in to the apartment not knowing where reception was to get keys from phoning round eventually found out was a 5 min walk to reception to collect keys then had to pay £300 to be put on hold in my account to stop me from spending any of it incase during our stay anything got damaged which we was not informed about then had to pay another £15 for tax finally got the keys and got in our room about 5.30am it states on the lastminute website we would have wifi we didn't also states we have access to swimming pool and we didn't we where given hand towels to use as bath towels all the sockets where hanging out the walls which is very dangerous cockrouches everywhere very loud all day and all night drunk people shouting screaming fighting kicking and punching shutters road sweeping machines which are so loud out every morning at 4am bin men at 6am cars and buses honking horns all hours salou never sleeps not an ideal family holiday if you have young kids

  We stayed here from August 17 to 24th 2016, my wife and I and 3 kids aged 16, 14 & 8, we were in apartment 502, I don't no about the other apartments but ours was fine, it was what you would expect for 2 star, not filthy dirty as we were expecting after reading some of the comments on here, prob could use a lick of paint, but in general it was all we needed. Clean bathroom, clean kitchen & fridge & microwave & hob. Plenty space, two twin bedrooms & living dining room with sofa bed & lovely balcony looking onto busy buzzing shopping street which leads to the busy beach only 200 meters away. Great location right in the centre of everything, we haven't been on a sun holiday in a few years & we all had an absolute ball, plenty places to eat & drink nearby. It doesn't have air-con but we were able to rent a fan from the rental-mar & also had to rent the safe key. We would have liked air-con but the location made up for it. Clean sheets & towels were on table when we arrived and the beds had clean sheets already. We washed towels in the sink at night and they would be dry by morning on the balcony, we also brought some towels with us which came in handy, & bought beach towels for €5 each in the shop nearby. We would stay here again and are planning on going back next year, we will try to get an apartment with air-con nearby but if not possible we will rebook this place, because we loved the location & atmosphere, the street is busy & noisy at times & into early hours of the morning but that didn't bother us it just added to the atmosphere, but maybe not for people with young kids. We were terrified after reading some of the comments on here after booking, but we were very happy once we arrived, we weren't expecting a palace only a good base for our holiday.

  The reviews on these apartments are very old. These are private apartment and let out by an agency it says to collect key at los peces its actually from a rentalamar office it's open 24hrs it's near los peces. Our apartment was a 2 bed very modern and spacious right in the center of salou. It has security gate and cameras the pub/ restaurant next door is very nice with friendly staff. It's says on their website that there is a washing machine and oven. There's no washing machine and it's a microwave oven. We had a really large balcony. The swimming pool is a couple of minutes walk away they have a snack bar, pool tables, table tennis, air hockey & mini golf. Our teenagers loved it. I would stay here again. I don't know what the other apartments are like as they are private let's.
